What an amazing place! Decor is amazing and the food is incredible. Atmosphere was lacking because we went about 2pm in the afternoon, that's all. I would go here ALL the time if I could but we drove 50 minutes to go and it's totally worth it! My little boy had the best birthday meal, thanks guys! X

I found The Good Hood via an IG post and immediately had to go. It's got a fun grunge vibe with graffiti and neon on the walls, with multiple booths and an outdoor seating area (that I didn't see but will go next time).Food is probably loosely 'American' themes: burgers, fries, dogs, and cocktails - but don't let that fool you, as these are absolutely fantastic.Sharing nachos were fantastic and came straight in the hot frying pan. Melted cheese, jalapenos, lots of flavoursome toppings.The burger I had was the Pure Joy chicken, and it had curry mayo, crispy bacon, melty onions. The buttermilk chicken was off the charts - not quite sure how they've prepared it but it was phenomenal.Went quite late in the evening, so they were out of the cheesy corn dogs, but I will be back, and back soon!Definitely worth a trip out to WK!

One on the best burgers I’ve ever had, the sauces on it gave it so much flavour the patties were cooked really nice, really like the chips I got the Cajun ones and had a really nice spicy mayo dip with them my partner got the meat pizza and loved that too, can’t wait to come back

We went with the intention of having food and some drinks.On arrival, we noticed some food sitting in the hatch waiting to be served. We waited at the bar for a while, and so did the food in the hatch. We decided to just get some drinks whilst we thought about what to do, but it took a very long time to get served.To be fair, it wasn't the guys fault. He was the only staff member in there, and he was cooking the food, serving the food and drinks. He was friendly too but looked like he could have done with some help.We decided against food in case it would be sitting round.Some nice artwork in the back.Pints were £6.50.

The Good Hood
Came down for a burger today and was blown away! I had the Comfort, the meat was tender and spiced well, the liquid cheese was decadent and rich. I sat out in the newly opened beer garden. The graffiti, done by a local artist I was told, is quirky and cool and fits in with the whole vibe really naturally. I would recommend to anyone to go down and try it out!
