The Old House At Home
From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, the staff were amazing. So welcoming, so efficient, nothing was too much trouble. Each and everyone looked after the place and the clientele as though they owned the place. The first evening we dined in the restaurant, the food was as good as it gets. Two starters and two mains, all four cooked to perfection. The bedrooms were spotless and comfortable. Breakfast on both days was well cooked and plentiful. We would recommend this place to everyone.

Pleasant ambiance and tasty food. However, the prices are a bit steep, and the lack of proper room comfort during hot summer nights was disappointing also a bit noisy. I hope the management takes these concerns into consideration to enhance the overall experience for future guests.

Met my partner here after a dog walk. We decided to stay for a bit of the food. It was a Wednesday fairly quite. The bar lady was sooo lovely, very helpful and very good at her job. Food was good and nice gluten free selection! We willBe back

Stopover on the way back from Wales. Best decision! The Food and the Staff are Amazing! Had the best Full Breakfast I've had in a Long time!! Staff are so friendly and assisted us with every question or query we had. Special shout out to Kelly who is unbelievable at her job. And her lovely daughter Quba. In 24 hours we came away feeling like we'd made friends. Thank you.

Food here is incredible. Definitely save room for dessert.We had the fried pickles, 8oz burger and onion rings. Portions were larger than expected, and cooked to perfection. Batter is light and crispy.We had the chocolate orange tart and chocolate orange cheesecake for dessert, both of which were outstanding with some creative flair.Staff were very friendly, and apologetic of the slightly rowdy regulars.Would gladly visit again.

Very good value for money, really modern and clean large room with cosy bed. A really nice high quality dinner in the pub. Perfect base for Bristol and/ or Bath.

A delicious Sunday roast in a quaint, traditional pub. Very good food but limited menu on Sundays.When you arrive and are waiting at the bar it is always good customer service to be acknowledged to know you've been seen. Please do it, it's so easy and makes you feel welcome!!
