I recently received a Magis trolley. The packaging was impressive and the quality is excellent . The disappointing aspect was that although when ordered the item was described as available for immediate delivery, it was actually 15 working days before it was despatched. The responses I received to successive emails, although prompt, did not account for this.

The customer service is great. However, their online stock levels are not accurate.I purchased 4 Alessi items which were showing as available and ready to dispatch.It took Connections at Home an entire week to let me know that 2 out of the 4 items were out of stock or discontinued.I have just checked and these products are still listed as available to purchase a week after I was told that one was discontinued and the other won’t be back until possibly February.I don’t feel confident purchasing from them in the future. I’d rather pay a bit more knowing I’ll receive my purchase than waste time with Connections at Home.

Items arrived very quickly. Totally satisfied/delighted to be able to replace my missing forks and a knife.I called up about an issue with my address which the human being (!!) that answered the phone after 2 rings (!!), helped figure out had originated with FedEx and which I am now addressing" with them. This is such a frustrating company to deal with. My experience seems to be commonplace judging by the multiple similar reviews I have read on various platforms. The lesson seems to be that you're ok as long as the product is in stock - so double check. I ordered something that the website said was in stock, but after hearing nothing for a week I phoned them and was told it wasn't, and that they were awaiting a delivery from the manufacturer! Two further expected delivery dates were promised and passed - each time only coming to light after I had chased for an update. A promised call to investigate and update me was never made, and there was a distinct lack of urgency and not even a hint of an apology every time I spoke to them. This is such a simple thing to fix - just communicate with your customers, and have some empathy for those of them who are left in the dark, not knowing if they will ever get the item they ordered or whether they should be raising a dispute over the transaction with their card issuer. I finally breathed a sigh of relief when I received my order just 2 days shy of a month (and 21 'working days') after I ordered an 'in stock' item.

I couldn't ask for more. I ordered, online, one day, and my table arrived, in perfect condition, the next. Before I ordered I rang to check that what I wanted, was definitely available, as it is a discontinued colour. The person from Connections At Home was both polite and well informed. Thank you.

The worst customer experience possible. I ordered a shelf unit in May. Having chased about delivery I was then told there was a 5-6 week lead time. After 8 weeks I had to chase twice about delivery. I was then told that the bookshelf was missing its fixings, and so I had been issued a full refund. I don't usually check I've received all refunds, but in this case I thought this would be wise. It turned out the refund that I had been told had already been made, had not. What a surprise. Maybe I was lied to, maybe not. Either way I would seriously steer clear of this company. If you check other reviews, you will see other customers have frustrating experiences time and time again.

I came across Connections at Home whilst searching for a Fermob Bistro Table. I placed the order late on a Sunday eve and the table was delivered by one of their own drivers on Thursday afternoon! I spoke to them twice after I placed the order - once to enquire about delivery date and again the day before delivery to get an idea of timings. On both occasions they were really helpful, friendly and professional. The gentleman who delivered the table was also really nice. I chose to use Connections because of the excellent reviews. This company clearly prides itself on excellent customer service and I certainly hope to use them again.
