Dr Gim Ooi is truly a remarkable, experienced and skillful person. I broke one of my tooth and was struggling to find an NHS dentist in my borough Tower Hamlets. I was referred through NHS 111 emergency dental treatment at Dr Gim Ooi dental surgery, straight away when I saw Dr Gim, he identified the problem and treated me and his team in administration offered a treatment plan for me. Dr Gim knowledge and insight in what he does has really impressed me. In time of emergency I got the full treatment and I am really and truly satisfied with the help and assistance of this dental surgery. NHS dentistry has so much backlogs across the country and it is hard to find NHS dentistry. Dr Gim is providing that great service for the NHS and we should all be praising this action and his dedication to help the most vulnerable patients in our society. Administration staff in the reception team are really helpful! A local dental surgery within the community is serving its purpose to help us all. I had a very positive experience with Gim who literally saved my day. No one was keen to help me and bother with re roothing my tooth canal via NHS insurence, except for Gim. It took him plenty of visits and fixing the tooth but eventually he managed to resolve a very problematic issue for me. Jim is very experienced and I can only recommend this place.

I found this practice in lockdown when my tooth crumbled and I needed an emergency root canal.The team were excellent, I’d not been to the dentist on 20 years as my childhood dentist hurt me so much I’ve avoided them since.I explained this and they really looked after me. Excellent service, great work.I had a white cap and it it looks like a real tooth. I’ve since recommended this guy to 3 people who have said they had a great experience.

I’m trying to reschedule an appointment and nobody picks up the phone!! I’m in soo much pain!! It’s getting really frustrated that I was cancelled on 3 times.

He is simply the best. You feel the 'experience vibe' coming through in his every move. I recently moved from my old dentists 3 months ago. Here my teeth have come to life, my smile is confident again and I am delighted. Never seen a dentist with 2 washing sinks in his room. He is cleanliness obsessed OCD. That's a brilliant practice. He is also warm and friendly. Over 30 years at the same address. I see how pleased his patients are and the orderly work regime like a well oiled machine. No stressing.Thank you for my new 'perfect fit' crown and wisdom teeth removal that went brilliantly.

I was seen by the owner dentist and I was very clear about what I wanted : white filling on my back tooth and a crown:. I came home with a metal filling and I am calling every day to make an appointment for the crown. I have left untold messages but no one can have a decency to call me to make an appointment to put the crown and finish the job. Three month in this agonyThe provisory cover of the tooth has come off and I am here desperate with this metal on my tooth, no crown and I am still calling every day but only the voice message responds to me. I am so unhappy and I don't wish that to no one. So please look for another dentist. I really DO NOT recommend. Who knows after the dentist read this he might finally call me to finish the job!!!

Referred to this dentist for an emergency appointment, we were met with a hasty, rough and hasty treatment. Nevertheless, I would have expected more empathy from the doctor and his assistant as the patient in question was an elder. They were insistent everything was in order when she was clearly in pain and discomfort. Little did they do to ensure her back and neck were well supported. Covid has us all stressed but that's no excuse for dismissive and impatient behaviour. You were our only choice and now our last if we need help again - not recommended.

Came in after a call to 111. Receptionist was really nice but the dentist himself was incredibly rushed and didn’t really seem to care at all. Told me he was going to wash my gums but failed to inform me he was going to do so by injecting the mouthwash INTO my gums. A warning would have been nice. Rushed me out the door without much explanation at all.
