Excellent coffee, interesting menu, very nice surroundings, very reasonable pricing.

bought this restaurant experience through groupon for my sons birthday.I phoned in the afternoon to check my booking was ok, the owner answered and seemed incredibly vague and unsure. When we turned up he was exactly the same, it was awkward to say the least.It's a very strange place, doesn't make you feel at ease. We were asked to order all 3 courses at the same time, not one of the dishes arrived were what was printed on the menu. My son was served rich tea biscuits with his cheese course, my crushed new potatoes was actually a microwaved white potato with no seasoning, my key lime and coconut cheesecake was in fact a 'Gu lemon cheesecake' bought from Tesco, missing ingredients in literally every dish. They obviously see Groupon customers as unworthy. When I mentioned to the owner that you cant serve rich tea biscuits with a cheese board, his response it's better than nothing". I've never been so shocked and we left very quickly."

It was lovely, just the right amount of food, excellently cooked and served at the right time. Both of us enjoyed what we had, I had pan fried sea bass and my daughter had the salmon. I would definitely recommend it.

Superb meal and service. The restaurant has a great ambience. The food was beautifully presented and delicious, we all cleared our plates! Well worth a visit.

Fantastic food!!! Small venue leads to an intimate atmosphere, perfect for couples. Someretto (the owner) runs the place well and is a good guy to have a quick chat with. Service can be a LITTLE slow but don't let that stop you from enjoying a wonderful bite to eat at this great restaurant!

Lovely food. The Groupon deal for 3 courses is far too cheap for what you get. Other reviews I have read are mixed regarding quality of food and service. My experience was very positive. Worth a visit.

We love the food here. A group if us go regularly because the food is cooked as you order. If a large group, ten or more, you may not all get the food at exactly the same time. This is because everything is cooked individually. Smashing. Thank you.

Don't know where you begin. Cold inside. 1 in every 2 light bulbs working. Atmospheric? Not really...Ordered drinks - then told no license. 2 starters ordered - only one available. Had sharing platter for two - ok but not as the menu. Main course took an age: partners mussels ok but my chicken tough and swimming in thin, fatty sauce. My side of veg came out before my food but was left sitting on the bar. I finally asked for it as the waiter plainly wasn't bringing it over - requested a fresh one. What was returned was hotter than the sun so i guess microwaved.Overheard next table ordering dessert and what I wanted wasn't available. Decided to pay and leave: card machine not working and needless to say hadn't been told... Thought I had no cash but owner/manager said come back and pay next time. Trust me there won't be a next time! Found some cash (short of total) and left. A real shame.

Groupon voucher deal, but I believe the menu is the same.Very quiet place, but we could see why.Service - you ask for one thing, and they bring another, and try to pass it off as what you ordered. In my case, I ordered chargrilled monkfish, and he brought out battered fish, and then claimed that they chargrill it and then covered it in batter and fried it?!Portions - main meal was the usual for these areas; mainly for looking at, but ok, we’ll go along with that! The salad consisted of a leaf of iceberg lettuce, cut up, with half a tomato. The mixed vegetables was half a pepper, sliced thinly and cooked! This would seem like I’m exaggerating, but it is exactly as stated here.The best one was the sticky toffee pudding: I took a picture of it, as I was impressed that the owner would even think of serving this: it was the size of 2 teaspoons and about 10mm thick; exactly 2 mouthfuls!And the grande finale was getting the “inclusive” tea/coffee, which, after disappearing downstairs with a kettle, came back up and brought 2 instant coffees! When we asked why he hadn’t made them on the big coffee machine at the front of the restaurant, the reply was that there was low water pressure, and the machine didn’t work...which was the same last year, when we had last been in (and had better food, with the exception of coffee).We understand that things happen, but at no point were we informed beforehand about any of the stock issues (lack of salad and vegetables), the false claims regarding the menu, or the coffee machine, and at no point was an apology offered.This will be reported to Groupon (£15 per head is a fair amount, especially for what we received, and the poor dining experience), but I would imagine that the place will be closed down before then, just like it did before, when the bad reviews for the Mediterranean Grill caused the owner to change the name, but not the attitude or the service!The potential is great, but not with the same person running it!
