About the Business
Orkney Television Enterprise | Euronics Site | Orkney Television Enterprise (OTE) is a well-known, family run business, which was established back in 1958. The business was originally set up by Eric McLennan. The business is now run by Fran and Norman (two of Eric's children) and Amanda, Norman's wife. Orkney Television has two branches; the main branch is in Orkney's capital, Kirkwall. With the second, smaller store located in Stromness. In today’s current climate we understand that price and service is everything, so we aim to stock a whole range of products across a whole range of prices to suit every budget! All to help keep your home running smoothly and efficiently! We also stock a large range of kitchenware products and in recent years; we have expanded the business to include homeware, giftware, and toys.

I needed to get the amplifier from my precious Hifi system fixed. It was not a massive breakage, nor is it really a super valuable system, it's more wear due to age and value because of my niche taste in 90s hifis!Either way, I figured it may be pricey beyond the value of the system or time consuming to fix. However, I dropped off in the morning and within a few hours I was getting a call back to tell me it had been fixed! Great service. I was worried I'd have to send it down south at extra expense but luckily OTE was at hand. Thanks again guys.

A wide range of products, inc electrical goods and also toys, kitchen utensils and ornaments etc. As they are part of Euronics they can order in anything from the Euronics website. Recently have ordered white goods from them and they delivered for free.

Great local shop that stocks a surprising ampunt of products. Always nice to buy big electrical.products locally and the prices are competitive enough to be able to do so.Also good for the small things, peripherals and accessories.Helpful and friendly staff (as you'd expect in Orkney).

I love OTE. I go there for anything and everything electrical.They're fully accessible on the ground floor but not on the first floor.They take cash, debit cards and credit cards.You get great products and great customer service too.
