Stobsmill Inn & Brunton’s Restaurant
A Spanish friend came to visit us and we decided to try this place. It was a Thursday night and there were some people in the restaurant, the staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. I got some fish and chips and it was crispy and the sauce was nice too. The dessert was a chocolate brownie I think with ice cream. All very tasty.Recommended. We will go back!

Bar area was great. Regulars made us feel welcome. Restaurant area has real relaxing atmosphere. Food was out of this world and staff couldn't have been any nicer. 5 stars all the way. Will definitely be back

Staying in the area we came here for an evening meal earlier in October. A warm welcome, great food which is reasonably priced & very attentive service. What more can you ask for? We would definitely return if ever back in the area.PS The Haggis bon bons are terrific!

Stobsmill Inn & Brunton’s Restaurant
We had a lovely meal on our first visit last night. We chose scallops to start, which were very well cooked and nicely presented. There was a fresh twist on what could have been a very familiar fish and chips, which instead was light and delicious. Our other main course was chicken Milanese and that was tender and juicy. The team have done a brilliant job of providing very good quality food, prepared and presented with a little imagination… something we feel is tricky to find in Midlothian.

Stayed overnight in the car park with our van. Very nice staff and owner was superb with us letting us use his electricity for our van . Even the pub users were very friendly towards us and it was a pleasure to stay there .would recommend it to everyone.

Very busy during weekend dinner, but worthy the waiting. Most people order the authentic Sichuan spicy dishes. I ordered several seafood dishes, very satisfied.

First visit to the restaurant. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. They had an event on in the bar upstairs which was noisy and busy but the restaurant still had a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely will be back . Lovely local community feel about this wee place.
