Fine Mesh Metals

The basket quality of the baskets and the delivery service are both good. The prices compete with anyone out there, making Fine Mesh Metals an obvious choice.I have read some comments about the service and can say that this wasn't my experience at all in our 3 deliveries to date. The factory manager, Paul Hemming, has been helpful and the delivery firm used have worked with us to get the product down our narrow road.The picture below is phase 1 of 4 in our quest to get our garden sorted.

First time using gabion baskets, and I bought them from Fine Mesh Metals because of the great videos and support information on their website. I broke up about 8 cubic metres of concrete from around my house, and used the rubble to make some small retaining walls, which don't look bad considering. Very easy to assemble - I used the helicoils mainly for the looks.

Excellent quality, much, much stronger and better coated than I expected at this price. I am sure it will last a lot longer than the alternatives I investigated, making it even better value. Delivery charge and arrangements are only thing letting it down as the courier used was average at best. Overall, highly recommended mesh cage product used for an African Grey mini aviary.

Appalling customer service!Wednesday: Checked the item I needed was in stock - advised it was by Company Director Chris.Asked if I could collect as only 25 mins away - was told no.Went online to order and found the delivery charge was over 54% of the item cost!Asked again if there was any possibility of me collecting the item - was told no and there was nothing they could do.Ordered a £60 item online and almost fell off my chair when I found out the next day delivery was £34Got an email to advise me the item was out of stock!After choosing an alternative, I was advised it would still be delivered the next day.Thursday: The item was not delivered!Two emails later - not even a response.Friday: We got a call to say my item had been sent to another customer and their item was being sent to me.Was then advised delivery would be on Monday!!!As this was unacceptable, I asked again if I could collect as I desperately needed the item - was told that I could !?!?Went to collect the item and was told to throw away the incorrect item that was on its way to me.As a new customer, the experience I had was absolutely disgraceful. Blunt negative responses left me feeling very disappointed. Such a poor way to communicate with new customers .... I could have been your next biggest customer about to place a huge order. I certainly won't use this company again.If I could review it with no stars I would because you don't deserve my 1 star rating!

really nice products, went together easily and looked fabulous. The helicoil springs really finish off the corners in an aesthetic and safe fashion.

Terrible customer service, part of my order arrived damaged, I contacted customer service immediately and was promised to be sent a replacement. This was in June, I've been awaiting and regularly emailing since then with no reply at all. I initially chose to buy from fine mesh metals based on their reviews but it seems their standards have gone downhill

I've never used gabion baskets before but the helpful videos and articles on Fine Mesh Metal's website has given me the confidence to order and give them a go. Delivery was quick and straight forwards - I can't wait to build my wall.

I recently purchased some Gabion Wall cages from Fine Mesh Metals. They arrived promptly and are really well made. The How To" videos on their website were a great help

Bought some Gabion Baskets for my garden. Had never installed them before but the instructional video on their site was very good. Very happy with the finished result and a complete novice! Website very easy to use and helps you calculate what you need. I'll be going back for more!
