Was very interested in learning what this place was about, had a few questions, double check its not a cult etc, gave honest answers to the questions asked.The very spiritual lady on the other end blocked me from future correspondence after she had emailed me a sorry no space message. Mind what I get for establishing I had no money from the get go.God is money I guess.

Amazing food, friendly people, beautiful walks, gorgeous setting.

Someone once said to me that advertising doesn’t work for Chisholme as people find the place for themselves. For me that comment resonated as I found this special place at the right time. Go, explore the garden, the house , the pond, the food,the camaderie, and find so much more in the process of the journey through life.

Lovely place. I went for a solitary retreat there. They were so kind and helpful, and couldn't have been more welcoming. The solitary retreat facilities were ample for my needs and in very beautiful countryside.

Chisholme is a retreat centre and school for self knowledge, firmly rooted in the principle of unity that lies at the heart of all wisdom traditions.

A wonderful place to go and to be! Filled to the brim with love and compassion, self-reflection and exploration. Wether you come here as a student on one of the many courses or as a wwoofer, or volunteer, you always end up learning something new about yourself, others and the world around you. I can't express with words what a truly special place Chisholme is, and how much It means to me that it is a place in this world that I can come to and be welcomed, and see others come to and be touched by the spirit of the place and the people.

A place that I will always return to time and time again. Everything is lovingly prepared from the bedrooms to the food to the coffee. I especially recommend the woodland retreats. :)
