Barchester - Brampton View Care Home

As a travelling provider of entertainment and engagement - personally showing live narrated films of the beautiful natural history of the British Isles, I have a very broad experience of care home settings right across the Midlands. This coupled with my previous incarnation as a District Nurse for nearly 20yrs, means I can recognise a truly superior care environment.Brampton View has never failed to impress on me just how far care home settings have come during the last 30yrs, and where there may be a risk of it being a cliche, the whole dynamic at Brampton is one of a big extended family. With every visit I make there are yet more clear examples of the personification of care delivered with real integrity and sincerity.I feel it is important that when such high standards exist they should be highlighted and at Brampton View the standards have never been short of exemplary. Bravo.

A fantastic care home with a lovely atmosphere and kind dedicated staff. I attended a craft fair today as a stall holder, and I saw how lovely the staff were with the residents and how welcoming they were to us as visitors. So much work had gone into that lovely event, from the great entertainment to the amazing cake sculpture of the home as well as us stall holders of course. It's also warm, clean bright and welcoming . I would be happy to have a relative looked after there.

I have been the Hairdresser at Brampton View for over 5 years, after all this time I still value my job in making sure the residents hair needs are met.Staff and Management are always welcoming with a cheery smile, staff always dedicated and more then happy to assist me if needed.On two occasions my mother has been on Restbite at Brampton and on both times she could not fault the homes great food, Activities every day which was fun and interesting, she would be happy to return in the future.I would definitely recommend Brampton View to anyone looking for permanent care for there loved ones.B V HairdresserSarah.

My husband and I have been visiting Brampton View as entertainers for a number of years. We are always made very welcome and looked after by any staff members we meet. It is lovely to see activities staff and carers joining in with the residents to make sure that as many residents as possible are included and helped to enjoy our visits. The parts of the home we have access to look very clean and well kept and residents appear comfortable and happy. We always enjoy our visits to Brampton View.

Probably the least impressive care home I have been to when it comes to care.Had a family member there for respite care and it was just awful.We had concerns no one was willing to address.Not the Carers,Nurse or Manager.Aunty only looked worse until she left and went back to the hospital afew days later.Its a nice looking home though.Very fancy but not when it comes to care.

We are lucky enough to have the opportunity to provide entertainment for the residents of Brampton View. We are always made to feel welcome by all staff, who are friendly, professional and go above and beyond to make sure all residents are comfy whilst enjoying the session. A carer is always on hand to ensure any resident in need is seen to straight away. We look forward to seeing you all again in your beautiful home in the new year.

Want to say a massive thank you to all who looked after my granny at Brampton view.My mother in law went away for 10 days and granny spent the time at Brampton. She absolutely loved it. Staff were responsive, considerate, caring and so loving.She enjoyed every minute that she was there. The entertainment was her absolute favourite. She enjoyed all the activities that were planned and participated in it all without hesitation!Thank you again. You are amazing at what you do!

Brampton View is an excellent care home. It has been much improved since it has been taken over by Barchester. The staff are kind and conscientious to all the residents and family members. My mum is well looked after, and although she can't do anything for herself, she has plenty of food and drink given to her throughout the day. If she has any problems the staff call us straight away , which is very kind to let us know how she is. We do visit her 4 times a week , and call frequently to check how she is when we are not there . We are always given plenty of time to discuss anything we may like to ask about her with the staff, they are very supportive of everybody. I would recommend this home to anybody who would be looking to find a brilliant care home with kind staff.
