Fantastic service from the Tune Tech team. When my spring snapped suddenly on my suspension, Jo squeezed me in and Mike and the team had my car back on the road within a day of having it. Completely exceeded my expectations for speed, and as always lovely customer service. I'd recommend to anyone needing car servicing or mechanical repairs without hesitation.

I simply asked them to order and replace a specific sensor in my car. They did not replace the sensor and instead they charge me for a diagnostic. Their conclusion from the diagnostic was that I needed to replace the sensor that I originally asked them to replace. When argued about it they insisted getting paid for their time spent diagnosing the issue. At least they were kind enough to offer me a 10% discount (from £78 down to £70.20) after I asked them for a reduction for something that wasn’t agreed. Memorable waste of time and money.

I am so impressed with tune tech!! Used them when my car broke down, when i originally called that said that they could do it but there might be a wait as they had two big jobs in, but despite this, two days later I got a call letting me know that car had been repaired! In the past I’ve used a different garage for all car stuff, but think I’ll be using tune tech from now on as they’ve been so great!

Firstly I want to say I do appreciate that my car may be an exceptional case and that the staff do seem to know their stuff and are welcoming, but unfortunately my personal experience was bad in many ways and that is what I will write about.My interactions began probably a couple months ago now, where I asked to book my car in for an inspection. Tune tech told me how much the inspection would cost and a week later my car went in, it did cost the amount which I had agreed (around £76 I believe) although they were unable to diagnose my cars issue. when I retrieved the car I brought this up and had a chat with a decent mechanic, and he was surprised about some of the details I told him about the problem even though I had relayed all the issues on the phone when made the booking (I had everything written down in front of me) and said it could be an ecu issue, which I also suspected.When tune tech did the inspection they cleared the vehicle codes as per the process and the codes did not immediately return, I was then told to drive the car around until they returned, but I was uncomfortable doing so as the car previously died and needed recovering. eventually through running the car on very short journeys the codes returned and I brought the car back, After a little back and forth tune tech told me they believe the issue is most likely (but not certainly) within the first foot of the wiring loom from the ECU. One positive point from the experience is that they were good at relaying what they were going to do and how much it will cost, and asked me if I would like the work done. I said if you believe it will fix the problem go ahead and they went ahead with the work. the next day I collected the car and paid just shy of £120 for the work inspecting the loom and splicing a wire (again I had agreed to this price). However the next day the problem returned. I have since noticed they also did not tighten down the waterproof housing for the ECU either.Anxious, £200 and three weeks of lost work down, the car had the same issues and not wanting to accrue further costs I have since gotten rid of the car because of this experience. although I can't call the business categorically bad I will not be recommending them anytime soon.

Took our Merc C class in due to a issue with the rear (I suspected bushes).Charged £35 for them to investigate the issue (no problem with that)They (Tune Tech) diagnosed an issue with the rear subframe and front drives side spring and advised both be replaced, they quoted £2k without parts. I felt that was a bit high.Had further qoutes around Hemel Hempstead and BerkhamstedDecided on the mechanic in Berkhamsted who quoted me far less, They replaced rear subframe and advise no further work was needed.I took it to Mercedes benz in hemel Hempstead two weeks after the subframe was replaced for a seatbelt recall, and they found no issue as I requested they gave it a once over.I'm glad I had further qoutes.
