This is the place to be if you love pie & mash. Very tasty, a wide selection on the menu. A nice extension on the side of the shop. Quick & very friendly service all very clean & tidy, great old fashion atmosphere.

I don't usually go in high street eateries as I find them overpriced however I was willing to make an exception for what looked to be a traditional pie and mash shop unchanged since the 40s. To my delight the prices were reasonable and they had a meal deal on. If I'm in the area I will certainly return to try the other items on offer. I will recommend to my hip east-based peers as well. Simply some of the best pie and mash in London. No frills, wholesome, hearty, and everything you want and more from a pie and mash. You can’t go wrong with Robins. It’s my go-to every-time I’m in town, and something I look forward to upon my every visit. Cheap, cheerful, and always hits the spot!

Amazingly good value, lovely pie, mash, and liquor, great apple pie with smooth custard. They also do veggy pies. All the staff are really friendly and welcoming. Don't miss out on this little gem!

Standards have dropped considerably, pies very small and the eels were very small priced at a £1 a piece, lacking taste and overpriced.

Another hidden gem in east London. I was trying to find something to eat around Wanstead area and this pops up. I always love some jelly eel and this is definitely one of the delicious shops I have been to. Pie crust was cooked nicely and to combine with the chilli vinegar and liquor are such a treat. Ample of seatings available. They also accept credit card payment. Good place to come for some nice British food.

Nice food, used to order from them through just eat who gave free delivery. Now they use Uber Eats who want to charge £4.29 to drive less than 10 minutes to deliver it. Won’t be ordering from here again. Just eat still has other pie and mash shops who deliver for free.
