This little place is absolutely bang on! I needed 4 of our studio guitars overhauling but was at a bit of a loss of where to take them. I’d driven past Paddy’s Music but always a bit later in the day. Checked it out on the Web and it said ‘instrument repair’ I knew one of the guitars did require a bit of attention from a luthier. So, in typical fashion, instead of taking just one in to test the water, I took the job lot. Explained what I (a drummer) thought wanted doing. Went to collect them slightly earlier than agreed and Ben explained everything what HAD been done and at no extra cost!!This is genuinely the first guitar shop I have been in that I have felt comfortable in and not intimidated…for me personally, first class customer service that will be getting more business from myself in the future!!

Bought a vintage Harmony Sovereign jumbo three years ago form Paddy’s so I had a decent guitar too play when visiting family in Hull. It had been so well restored and set up then and remains an absolute joy to play. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I had a great experience at Paddy's Music.Being relatively new to playing guitar (just over a year) I've found guitar shops very intimidating, and barely gone in long enough to get a new set of strings, or an amp cable.I play an Epiphone SG, and the switch (I thought) needed replacing, and figured that I'd get the set-up looked at while it was there. I popped in last week to get an idea of what could be done and how much it would cost. I returned yesterday with my guitar, which he looked at, played, and told met that the switch he could clean, and the setup would be £25 - he would use the spare strings I had in the case.I picked up my guitar today, the intonation has been corrected, and was invited to try it out. I reluctantly sat down and strummed a G chord, and the sound was amazing. A few more chords just sang out, and then I went for an F - which has never sounded quite right, and it was just perfect.This was probably the best £25 I could spend. If anyone is having prolonged issues i would recommend Paddy's MusicOh and it wasn't at all intimidating - he was really friendly and I could have chatted/played all day (shame I've had to go back to work!!!)

Fantastic little shop with excellent customer services and great prices! Went in to have my guitar reactioned came out with my guitar looking brand new and sounding great! Staff are very friendly and very helpful! Would definitely recommend trying it out!

I've taken two guitars to Paddy's Music to be repaired here. The work done on them has been perfect and they play better than ever. Especially the nylon acoustic that had gotten rusty as I'd left it in the garage for a few months while I was getting some work done on the house. I love bobbing into the shop.

I needed my guitar checking out, with some fret buzz, so took it to Paddy's. He sorted it out with a fret-levelling and re-crown, and even dropped the action a little bit. Such a good job done, it's like a different (far better) guitar!
