Returned a pair of walking boots yesterday to this branch, the young lady who helped me was marvellous, she explained about the waterproof levels and went out of her way to make sure my new boots were right for me, even down to providing a pair of thick socks to help me with the fit. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Picked up a few good bargains, store wasn't busy on Xmas eve, but due to COVID-19, and people buying online, shame really, I prefer going to the shops and seeing what I want. We need to support the shops and the high street, don't want to loose them.

Went in to swap a coat that was bought after visits to 3 of the stores in Scotland (wife wanted blue, ended up with black) decided to pop in to see about exchanging as it was only purchased the day before.Staff clueless, had one in store, still at full price, didn't know where it was, suggested we order the blue one online in the store, pay for it, get it delivered to home address, then bring both into store to get a refund on the first one!!Then suggested go to the new store at the Arnison Centre in Durham.....But they didn't have nor could find the stores number to see if they had the blue jacket in the store.A shambles, won't go to this store again.The one in Gretna where we spent a hefty sum were superb!!
