Peter fitted a cat flap for us today. Did a great job, he was fast, reliable, tidy and efficient. We will be putting more work his way soon.

Fantastic service and very reasonable price.After having a plumber round to have a look at a faulty kitchen tap that was making a deafening racket all day and him not having a clue or even any interest, I gave Pete McDermott’s Handyman Services a try.So glad I did, Pete was really helpful, turned up when he said he would and replaced the tap with no fuss despite it being a pain to access.I’ve already booked him in for another couple of jobs, he may never get rid of us now!

Great communication ahead of the job. I had an internal door turned and fitted, and bathroom handle and lock repaired and hooks added to the bathroom door. Pete was kind enough to come out as an emergency. He said he would be there and arrived on time with a courtesy text 5 minutes before. He helped me with kitchen appliances and I cannot quite believe that I have found such a brilliant handyman. How lovely to find someone who charges an affordable amount for such lovely service. I found him to be professional, trustworthy, respected my home and not only would I recommend him, he will be my first point of call every time.

I have had Pete do various jobs for me over the last couple of years and I have always been very pleased with the standard of his work. Its good to know that there is someone like him whom you can call on and know his word is his bond. He is very unassuming and just gets on with whatever needs doing. Pete has done inside and outside jobs for me including recently, work on the outside of the house that required scaffolding. I would recommend Pete to anyone.

I was extremely pleased with how professional Pete was in dealing with the not so easy job of removing my old Awning from the rear of my house, Pete phoned to let me know he was on his way and arrived on time, he then weighed the job up and when he decided how he was going to do it he didn't stop until the job was complete, including filling in the holes where the supporting brackets had been bolted to the wall.I would definitely recommend Pete for any Handy man work, so much that my wife has now asked for a quote for boxing in some pipework.A very pleased customer.

Pete has today just finished a very large decking area for us. He has done an absolutely fantastic job. We are so pleased with it! He was very professional, immaculately clean and tidy and worked solid to get the job done. We couldn't recommend him enough and we will definately be keeping his number for future work. More than deserving of 5*plus.

I would fully recommend Peter, he is professional and reliable and does a fantastic job. He replaced our sagging shed roof with one which will last many, many years due to the rubber topper instead of the usual ‘felt’. We will have no hesitation in using his services again in the future!

I’d recently moved into a new build and needed the usual - curtain poles, blinds, mirrors, light fittings and a rather fiddly corner carousel fitting. I contacted Pete and was lucky he could fit me in fairly quickly due to a cancellation.Peter arrived when he said he would, I went through my list with him and left him to work through it. Pete not only put up the curtain and blind poles, but hung them too - perfectly!Pete’s work is of the highest standard, and he goes about it quietly and professionally.I’m absolutely delighted with the work Pete did for me, he turned my new house into a home. Good communication and like any good workman he's busy, but he set a date to start the work, kept me informed and arrived bang on time. Completed all the work to a high standard, I couldn't but more pleased. Built a fitted sliding mirrored wardrobe, replaced double glazing window, built 2 cupboards in the kitchen, removing the intergrated fridge which was a pain to extract. Even found time to cure a leaky pipe under the house. So pleased with the work I've booked him to return for some other jobs.
