An absolute waste of time. Contacted them looking for an estimate and was greeted with silence. Chased up through alternative method of contact and, eventually, received a quote which included exorbitant travel costs. As we are based within half a mile of their premises, I queried this and have been completely ignored since. Clearly don't want the business, not sure why they didn't just say so from the outset. Very strange way of operating.

Find of the year. I can’t praise Jonathan and the entire team enough.We happened upon the shop/workroom by chance in the summer of 2022 (looking for a bespoke headboard) and have bought multiple pieces of gorgeously restored furniture (sofas, chairs and small table) since. We were always impressed and so commissioned some pretty substantial curtains for our living room. The attention to detail was amazing. The finished result was exactly what we were wanted.Definitely a shop to seek out!

We benefited especially from the friendly, knowledgeable and skilled staff who are able to offer sound advice and help in sourcing the finest quality products and fabrics. All the work we have sought has been undertaken sympathetically and to the highest standards .Well worth a visit!

I cannot praise Jonathan highly enough. Friendly, professional and meticulous in regards to measurements and standard of work. He did a superb job recovering an Art Deco suite , daybed and repaired a tricky crack to an Epstein cocktail cabinet. Went above & beyond to provide a first class service. Rachel maintained good communication throughout the process. Highly recommend Glasgow Guild.

I agree with all of the comments on here. It was a pleasure buying from Guild. Rachel was really friendly and helpful ; I didn't catch the other names but they all worked as a team and were so helpful. I am delighted with my beautiful chair and will recommend Guild to everyone. The shop has so many interesting and lovely things to see.
