We were really impressed with Alessio's ideas when we briefed him for a 'low maintenance' flower bed arrangement. The plants were indeed low maintenance, full of colour and they have really transformed our garden. What I like the most is his passion, knowledge and the way he enjoys everything he does.We will be looking to use his services again in the Spring.

Alessio is amazing at what he does, he has so much knowledge about not only the practical things (soil, plants, care etc), but also about design. He knows the right questions to ask you to help you get exactly what you want out of your outdoor space. Alessio somehow made sense of my incoherent ramblings and delivered the garden of dreams! He is also a lovely person to have working at your home.

Alessio did a great job landscaping my garden. He always turned up when he said he would and finished the job within his estimated time. He is a very knowledgeable plantsman and adapted quickly to unexpected findings and changes to the job. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending him.

We have been looking for a gardener/landscaper to do our small garden for a while but the few we had come round always talked about the paving, never the plants. The complete opposite with Alessio from Softscape gardens. It was about the plants and the type of feel we wanted to create in the garden.Alessio listened to our wants and devised a plan to maximize the space we have. The garden is now both lovely - with plants that give the look we wanted - as well as completely functional in its layout. We can now comfortably enjoy the sunshine and have meals outside with friends. Alessio is also creative in the layout and landscaping of the plants, being aware of the height the plants will grow and the time of year the various plants will blossom and grow. It already is looking great after only a few months.Alessio was reliable, punctual, and attentive to what we were looking for. He is very knowledgeable about plants and has provided us with a care guide with pruning instructions on how to maintain the garden, which with our limited tree knowledge is highly appreciated. There were even a couple of follow-up visits to check on the progress of the plants and provide pruning advice. He also provided great advice on the patio hard flooring options that complement the layout of our garden.

Excellent work carried out in record time. Alessio is very knowledgeable on everything relevant to gardening and a source of practical and philosophical suggestions to implement stepwise improvements as I just moved in a new property with a large but tired garden. I highly recommend his services

Alessio was brilliant and gave us a front garden with a wow factor with something we would never have come up with ourselves. He kept us up to date throughout the process as everything had to be ordered in advance. He even wrote us some maintenance tips to keep it looking great.
