Had the most amazing spicy pumpkin and lentil stew in this intimate pub that was almost as old as Adam. An amazing building and excellent hosts. Great menu!

Excellent medieval inn with history surrounding the Knights Templar, and a decent selection of drinks. Try the London stout, it's very moreish! Relaxed and friendly traditional pub atmosphere.

Oldest pub in Chesterfield, it's a proper pub, staff were great. Had a pint of Hopback Summer Lightning Pale Ale which was excellent. So good that I went back for another later on.

Wonderful pub, great and knowledgeable staff! Went for Curry Night and it was brilliant; a light calorie option, vegan option and a spicy option were what we ordered and all three were absolutely spot on, perfect portion size too.Great Covid-19 prevention measures, all tables wiped down and hand sanitizer provided on the bar!

One of many great real ale pubs in Chesterfield. The small Shambles area is interesting to visit. Very good curry served. Slightly tired decor.
