East of England Co op Foodstore

Rosehill Co-op is much bigger than most of the branches in Ipswich so you'd naturally expect it to have a broader range of stock. Once it did, but now the extra space is just WASTED on items that never sell, mostly Vegan or 'Suffolk LOCAL', (such as over priced apple pickle chutney & apple cider vinegar). Despite having 2 DISCOUNT stores for neighbours, the prices are just as high as all the other Ipswich Co-ops, even 'Reduced to Clear' stock is more expensive than the identical items next door! I've found 'Reduced to Clear' bakery items apparently HIDDEN by staff on a top shelf where it's almost impossible to see them. As with East of England Co-ops in general, so-called 'managers' seem to be in conflict as to whether they're running an open all hours convenience store/off license, or a rival to Marks & Spencer's; (i.e; 4 bread rolls for £2.50 because the wrapper says 'St.Pierre' on it!) Extortionate OVER PRICING on everyday items that are much cheaper elsewhere; as in right next door!

Lack of most things , some staff not happy which I can understand.

Went into the store today before work and was totally ignored by the only member of staff working. As soon as a regular came in they were all happy and talking to them. This is horrible customer service, should treat all customers the same. Won’t be going back any time soon.

Went in store after work to return a faulty product and the manager today was obnoxious, I was made to feel like a liar even though he told me other people have also returned the same product with complaints.Will not be returning to this store
