James and his wife were incredible!! Neither me or my husband are particularly confident infront of a camera and he put us at ease and made the whole process really relaxed and enjoyable. As much as we were not initially keen on the practice shoot it was 100% worth it- it put both our minds at ease for the day and helped us get to know James better. We are over the moon with the photos from our wedding, it's incredible how he was able to capture the happiness and love from the day so perfectly. James was everything we wanted in a photographer and more. We have been so impressed by the sneak peek, we cannot wait to see the rest of our photos! During the day James only called us twice for photos, and snapped candid shots along the way, exactly like we wanted! We felt relaxed that we were in the hands of an expert! James and his sidekick Ed (we had the all night long package with 2 photographers) were amazing. Lots of options to chose from, we had a random bunch of natural shots and portraits.We were recommended by another photographer to James - we were glad we were as we got on well with him from the start.They both made us feel very comfortable on our big day, our family loved them, they were so professional and the night shots they took on our wedding night you wouldn’t have thought was possible with the cloudy weather. The photo booth which came with our package went down a storm as well. We had hundreds if not nearly a thousand photos come back within a week, some beautiful photos in there which we will put in a photo album.Thanks James and Ed for everything, we wouldn’t have chosen anyone else.

You spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day so it's important to make sure you pick a photographer you feel comfortable with. From the moment we met James, he was so accommodating and friendly - a real pleasure to be around. I'd highly recommend having the engagement shoot as it's a great opportunity to get to know each other before the wedding and a chance to feel a little more comfortable in front of the camera before the big day.We also had to move our wedding due to Covid and we were so pleased when James had availability for the new date and he was incredibly flexible in moving the date and making sure we were not out of pocket. On the day, he worked seamlessly with the staff at the venue to make sure everything went to plan and to capture the best photos possible!We loved looking through the online gallery he curated for us a few weeks after the wedding with hundreds of pictures we were able to share with all the guests to view and download. We've just had a wedding album meeting with him and can't wait to get our hands on the album.I'd highly recommend James and you know you'll be in good hands from wedding prep right through until getting your album created.

James Ireland Photography is wedding photo perfection! My Husband and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer. From day one James communicated in a speedy and professional manner, his prices were incredibly competitive and the final products were outstanding. We were lucky to be joined by both James and Ed on our wedding day, they made myself, husband and all our bridal party and guests feel relaxed when taking photos, plus they were fab with my little nephew who I think has decided he wants to be a photographer after being James shadow most the day haha! We recently hired James to photograph our wedding, and all I can say was that it was one of the best decisions we made! He was an absolute pleasure to work with, was punctual, friendly and he had such enthusiasm to get the best photos possible.We decided to actually hire two photographers on the day, James being one, and his colleague Ed being the other. Ed shadowed me, whilst James was with my wife, and this double team allowed us both to get a feel for the other's morning, before they both captured the ceremony from different viewpoints.Both Ed and James were unbelievably helpful, friendly, supportive and they made our big day so much fun. They even bought us drinks when we were thirsty!
