I have worked with Giles Hirst on a number of projects over many years and decided about twelve months ago that I would consider transferring all my Kent rental properties to his firm for management. This has been and continues to be a great success. As in any such transfer, there were numerous problems to identify and solve and in each case the people at Angela Hirst have dealt with them effectively and promptly. I am delighted to be working with Giles, Sam, Melissa and the other members of the team at AH.

Easily the worst estate agents, borderline illegal. Letted out a property with multiple leaks, mould, no working fire alarm and multiple other issues. We have a feeling they lied to the landlord about making repairs that never actually happened. Giles is by far the rudest, least professional person I've ever met, thinks it's okay to insult and put down people when confronted about the condition of properties. We were told by multiple people (fire service, gas people and mould inspection) that the property was not fit for living purposes, but because it was covered up by a lot of people there wasn't much they could do. Our baby was continuously I'll from the mould as was I, when moving out we had to chuck out about £500 worth of items because mould had spread to them, they allowed leaks to continue for months, ruining our personal items. Only fixed the fire alarm when faced with a council inspection, six months into our tenancy. They have now upped the rent for next tenets to £1000, absolutely disgusting. There is much more wrong with the property that I don't have space to write here, but be warned, if letting with this agency you will be done over, judged and spoken down to, any property that appears in good condition will change over time and goes downhill quick. So glad we are no longer here and our baby is finally healthy instead of constantly unwell.

Their staff are really attentive and senior management is always available when needed. Our tenants seem really happy and we have a very low turnover of tenants which keeps us happy. If you are a tenant or landlord I would fully recommend them. Their paperwork is always spot on so we always comply with the letting laws.
