Delightful tapas served in the heart of Keswick. A variety of decent sized portions and a huge range of tequilas /other drinks make this place stand out.I particularly liked the salt and pepper squid served with a smoky chipotle mayo dip and my crema catalana dessert option.

Good food and good fun! Let Bar eS take you to Spain or Mexico for an evening. Their commitment to creating an authentic atmosphere and a good time accompanied by good food, wine and beers of the crafty variety seems total. That and the way this stands out from everything around it, earns the restaurant and its friendly staff the full five stars.

Really good food the best ribs I've ever had and been able to eat with a knife and fork - so slowly cooked the meat just fell off!! Beautiful. Enchiladas also packed with the most tender roast beef. Waitress lovely and friendly as were all staff. Recommended by my son - we'll definitely be back next trip in September :0)

Great food. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere with quiet music. Recommend booking if you have a large group although we did manage to get a table as walkins for 4 people. Dog friendly. Wish it was open earlier as would have been a lovely lunch spot! Definitely recommend. Even the fussiest eaters should find options they enjoy.

Really lovely food and an excellent selection of tequila! I had the patatas bravas, garlic prawns, and the padron peppers all of which were excellent. Make sure you book a table as the bookings fill up fast and walk-ins mostly only get a table if a booking fails to show...

A great tapas bar close to the centre of Keswick, which we keep coming back to. Typically busy, so booking is recommended! Excellent food and great staff with a good beer selection, would definitely recommend!

Tasty and creative tapas served in an intimate yet fairly vibrant restaurant.Good wine choices.Would've loved to have stayed longer but two very loud speaking Outdoor Gear Sales Reps came and sat on the end of our table and completely drowned our quiet conversation.

Bar eS is one of the best food restaurants in the whole of the Lakes! Incredible food with amazing quality ingredients used throughout.We ordered a bit too much but ate it all as it was just so nice we couldn't waste any. So reasonably priced for the quality you're getting. Staff are so polite and will answer any questions. They also stock some really nice local beers too.There's something for everyone!Will be back next time I'm in Keswick.Edit: Came back again and everything was as good as the last time! Beautiful flavours, great attentive staff. Can't be faulted.
