Efes barbers stanway Colchester co3 0rz

I went in on a Sunday morning and asked for a trim. It was very long after the lock down. I'm old and dont want anything special.. the barber didn't speak and carried cutting. I could see it getting shorter and shorter. He trimmed noe and ear hair which was good but i ended up with a number 2. Scalped. And the cost £ 16. Rip off. I think he decided what to do with my with out checking. Never return.

This is my second time visiting Efes after having a great hair cut and experience the first time by the same fella. 1st cut was great, I had razor blade cut, hot towels, face massage and wash and it took about 25 mins. I left with a really good cut and felt amazing for the entire day. Cost was £16 and I paid £20 with a tip looking forward to my next visit. I went in yesterday for a cut and same guy. Was, say in chair for 3mins and done. I had to ask for hot towel and massage which was another couple of mins if that. Left not even 10mins later again £20 paid but experience wasn't good. Will give the benefit of doubt and return one more time but shame as like to support local business and felt I needed to write this as a result of experience I had.

Excellent turkish barbers offering grate cuts at reasonable price. Had a grt cut, but the hot towels were a bit smelly. Apart from that me and my son were both happu with the cuts. Would recommend.

I have been to a couple of barber shops around Colchester, and I never had an experience like this. Not even a hello when I walked in, hair cut was over in 5-6 minutes, which was basically a trim. Had to ask for the wash and hot towel included in the £ 16 price. Staff barely spoke. What a way to treat and rip off customers.

I was a bit nervous going in as I’ve had some terrible experiences with new barbers and like to stick to the same guy, but the blokes in there were very friendly they offered a drink before I sat down, I had a medium - high skin blend with a little off the top and it was spot on! Great attention to detail and an unexpected wash & hot towel was included for £18 which is very reasonable! Will definitely use again 5⭐️
