Poynton Dental Practice

I wasn't registered with this practice but after breaking a front tooth, I searched for a local dentist. I came across Poynton Dental Practice. I got an appointment the same day and within a couple of hours. I cannot praise this practice enough. I don't think anyone is a fan of dentists, me included, but I was immediately greeted with a friendly face at reception. The lady was very helpful, knowledgeable and put me at ease. I already felt that I was in good hands.The dentist himself couldn't have done enough for me. He was very kind, thorough, honest and explained each step of my treatment in detail. He really could not have done more for me. It was such a pleasure (yes I did say that) to be in his dental practice and under his care. I knew I would be looked after, and I certainly was.This practice is head and shoulders above others I have visited in the past. If I could have given more than 5 stars, I absolutely would have. Thank you so much Poynton Dental Practice for looking after me.

My partner was 32 weeks pregnant and was in agony with toothache, we waited 7 hours in A&E saturday night in to Sunday morning to be told nothing was available to help her. I called Poynton Dental practice and got a same day emergency appointment there and then. Amir extracted my partners Nerve in root canal work and eliminated all pain. The service was extremely professional and friendly and this will be our go to out of hours emergency practice. We travelled 1hr 25 mins from Barnsley and would do it all again if we had to. Fantastic practice!!

I attend the practice for cosmetic dental work. Dr Rezvani paid extreme attention to detail and the sheer dedication he showed to perfect my smile was second to none. I was made to feel at ease and listened to about what my expectations for the desired outcomes would be. The whole team are to be credited for their commitment and person centred care they provide. Special thanks to Amir Rezvani, who saved my son’s tooth and managed to beautifully save it and fix it back, after an accident in PE. I highly recommend Poynton Dental Practice. I had to have emergency treatment with the extraction of two wisdom teeth, and I was definitely in the right place. Amir is an excellent dentist and the process was clearly explained from start to finish.

A really lovely practice, the receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, the dental nurse was really friendly and kind and the dentist himself was really lovely and trustworthy and did an excellent job.Very welcoming place and I was seen very quickly and had a great experience here.Highly recommended dental practice.

I’m not registered with Poynton Dental Practice however after breaking a back molar eating my dinner at 5:15pm which was quite painful I rang them as they offered emergency appointments and I was seen that evening. My tooth is now fixed. Amir was very friendly and put me at ease as I am nervous of the dentist and he was very efficiently assisted by his dental nurse Caitlin who had stayed much later than she was expected to to make sure my tooth was fixed! I will now be registering with them from now on.

If like me even a check up at the dentist is like a white knuckle ride, so the prospect of a tooth extraction is incredibly daunting. Today I found myself in that position, however the dentist was amazing with me. There was absolutely no pain whatsoever even with the gum injection, the dentist was calm, friendly and patient, he explained everything to me, giving me a moment if I needed one and due to his skills and professionalism, the whole process was over and done with very quickly. I highly recommend this dentist.

I visited as an emergency patient, turns out I needed a wisdom tooth extracted. I've had terrible experiences in the past, and so have become an extremely nervous patient. The treatment I received was exemplary. Being given headphones with my choice of music was a fabulous touch. Amir was understanding, patient and explained everything in detail. His assistant was comforting and supportive. It was a 3 hour round trip to get to the surgery but worth every second. They also phoned me the next day to check how I was. Fabulous team.

Very good dentist. Since it was my first visit, he took the time to understand what had led to my need to approach him for help. He took about an hour to change a large amalgam filling & also fill in a small cavity in the same tooth. The tooth was cleaned out, washed, disinfected & dried till it most likely gleamed & he used a membrane to catch the toxic filling dust & stop me swallowing any. Then a well fitting new composite filling was installed. I am grateful for this since it was on the edge, throbbing & starting to go down with infection. The best that could be done has been done, so thank-you Dr Rezvani & Judith in reception.
