JJ's Doggie Walking Service

A Review of J and J Doggie Walking Services, December 2016 update.We both work, and have our 3 dogs walked at least once a day. We initially put our dogs in kennels during the working week when we moved, but transitioned back to dog walkers around 2014. J&J dropped us at short notice. We obviously either don’t fit their business model, or they decided to drop us for more profitable clientele. (We were only 1.3 miles away from their house, and their excuse encompassed clients over 7 miles away) We were using them for 6 months. J&J turn up on site with a sign written car stating “J & J dog walking services”. Although a sign of professionalism if a company has sign written vehicles, for dog walkers I don’t agree, why? Because I do not want everyone to see & know that my house is empty whilst I’m away! None of our previous dog walkers we have used over the last 7 years have had any advertising, all stating that they don’t want potential nefarious characters to know that either the house is empty or there are dogs in the house.Smaller issues included playing find it with treats in our garden, when in fact the treats Jan decided to use were our dogs worming tablets, not treats we had identified and left out. No apologies or concern that we had to seek veterinary advice.This review was initially on Yell, however, after we were bombarded with ill mannered texts, J & J removed the option for reviews from their Yell listing. - a point to note, if a company on yell prevents reviews, steer clear.Note that JJ dog walking and J & J doggles are the same company.
