The hotel room was decent for the price, however the room didn't get made after our first night, even though the maids saw us and we put the sign out side saying free for service. The staff were ok, not overly friendly but ok. Not a bad hotel to rest your head.

Brilliant. ...clean tidy and comfy bed. Staff were excellent and so helpful kind staff and personal. Breakfast was very enjoyable and clean. Will recommend and really book in future. Great value for price thank you.

Newton hotel was a very nice hotel. I had a single room which was plenty spacious for me and breakfast was cooked to order which was nice especially since it was complimentary. Only downside was that there is no air conditioning so I'm not sure how happy I would've been if it was actually warm our but for this trip, I was happy.

Cheap and cheerful. Basic hotel room and quite possibly one of the smallest I have ever been in, although there may have been bigger rooms I was unable to see. Have not yet had breakfast. No issues with cleanliness or staff. Receptionist was helpful and even came down to room to sort out the TV.

Ok mid range hotel a few minutes from Charing cross station. Beds are super comfy with tea making facilities in the room. They offer a full cooked breakfast in the morning (7-9am weekdays, (8-10 weekends). Downsides are that the decor is looking a bit tired, there's no aircon, shower temperature fluctuates every few seconds, you have to be buzzed in by reception at the entrance, and it can be noisy.

We had a very unfortunate experience with our breakfast and when we saw the kitchen we could easily see why. This was followed by a few days of bad food poisoning for my wife. Also not impressed with the manager or the way he dealt with our complaint. My wife and I regularly stay in Glasgow but we will not be staying in this establishment again.

Not bad hotel for the price with breakfast included near shopping street. BUT! Some things need to be fixed.1) view from my window was terrible (lots of garbage just behind window are easy to clean and make view better). 2) Kitchen..lots of things..a) breakfast taste not good, all was oily and plain. b) girld who cook (same girls who clean a rooms later), they left door to kitchen open so guest must see and listen what they doing. c) one girl ate something same time when she make someone breakfast, hope not a guest's food, and she not clean hands after she put food in her mouth. d) no aprons, no hats, toasted bread just on top of the beans on plate. e) my tea plate was so grisy and sticky one day so i hardly manage to eat my food as i imagine how badly plates beed washed.Rooms are not bad, bathroom very good and nice, modern. Only advice to put new milk and cookies on table as my one not been replaced, same as other lady (new guest) who i heard complain about this too.

I had a really pleasant stay. This was great for an overnight. Its a budget hotel, it was clean and warm. Bed was really comfortable. Room had everything you would expect: tea/coffee, television, hair dryer and, of course, bed. Shower in bathroom is a mutli nozzle one. Took a little figuring out, but worth the effort. Room at ground level and back of hotel. Area outside communal to several buildings and used as a smoking area. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Would not recommend I'm afraid. Having recently stayed in other 3 star hotels in Glasgow, this one was noticeably poor by comparison. But, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom presentable so it was fine. This is not the hotel's fault but my room was near the bottle bins for the club a few buildings down so I got woken up several times a night. Also, the drunk students making a racket in the car park off and on all night didn't help. Props to the fella in the next room who informed them of his displeasure!!

The decor is *very* red; carpets, curtains, bedcovers. Now I like red, but it still seemed a little OTT. Also, after a hard day doing 'whatever it was I was doing', I like to relax on/in a hotel bef and watch some telly, for chill time. Not a great experience here, as the telly was about 9 feet away from me, 6 feet to the right - instead of at the end of the bed. A rather fancy shower with lots of nozzles pointing at the body...didn't work properly...but on the pluses; the normal shower head worked fine, the place appeared clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. A bit noisy, being *right in the centre of Glasgow* - but then again, the convenience of being *right in the centre of Glasgow* was pretty good. Near to Charing Cross station, so travel links good....but little parking. I recommend you 'book a spot' with the hotel when you book your room, as apparently they do have a bookable car park (that's not mentioned). Overall - not bad, and I'd consider an overnight stay there again.
