The room was very nice, modern and well maintained. The bar and breakfast room was lovely, and the location, next to the Albert Dock, is perfect. But what really made the hotel stand out to us was the staff. They were all so friendly and helpful it made our trip. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Thanks to the whole team.(It's me with the leg in a pink cast)

We stayed here for two nights. We enjoyed our stay. However the windows weren't that soundproof as we could hear the sounds from the road. The extractor fan in the toilet didn't work. The room was clean, spacious, the bathroom was quite big compared to other hotels. Strangely and never seen in other hotels, the bathroom does was weird. It was a sliding door and never closes competely. Soap, the pillows were more comfortable. Certainly worth booking the room with the view of the dock. Amazing views! It is very close to the city centre and the dock. The breakfast was tasty but crowded and, in certain times, it appeared that the hotel was low in staff. Parking is in the basement and we paid £20 for 24 hours. There was no discount contrary to what was written on their website. Overall it was a good experience.

25/10/23 We checked into room 217 a couple of hours ago just to find a very damp room with a bad musty smell. My husband is quite a techie so he set the air condition in such a way that it should extract the very, very bad air quality and replace with more fresh air. We went down to the bar for an hour, hoping for better air quality as we returned to our room. Sadly, the air quality remains awful. We have left the door ajar for the last hour and a half in the hope to get better air quality but not much success. The problem is that we have paid for three nights and will have to endure a mediocre quality room with incredibly bad air quality. We're here to visit near family who has just had a child and we will spend some hours each day in the room working, visiting new grand child and then spend the evenings in the same musty, smelly, damp and no fresh air room. The concept of Hampton near the airport is fine but I cringe by the idea of having to stay in this room with such bad air quality. Regards, Gill.

Budget hotel just a short walk from Albert Dock and Pier Head. Check in was quick, and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a buffet with plenty of choice. Needs some replacement of carpets in the stairwell, and there was no door to the bathroom in my room. Otherwise a reasonable place to stay for a few nights.

We had a lovely stay at the Hampton from start to finish. Check in was very straightforward and the front of house staff very friendly. Our room was modern, clean and of a good size. The bed was very comfortable and just what we needed after a day of exploring Liverpool. The hotel is very handy for The Waterfront and James Street/Liverpool Central Stations are within walking distance along with Liverpool One moments away. Breakfast in the morning was of a good standard with plenty of choice and kept well topped up by the two friendly and helpful members of staff. We will be returning to this property again.

This is a very decent hotel. 20 minutes walk from Piccadilly station in a much more relaxed part of town, surrounded my mainly apartments.Rooms were perfectly good, although mine was missing the extra lock on the door.Breakfast was ok but extremely busy.Mixed experience from the staff, check in lady was lovely but check out guy was so miserable and unfriendly.Would stay again if it's no more than £75 a night, the main Hilton is so much better, especially if you're a diamond member.

The hotel was not clean. Not just somewhat worn or a bit dusty, the place was dirty. The room had chewing gum or something ground into the carpet and the floors were dirty generally. The lift had an odour. The breakfast was something I have never seen in a hotel. Hordes of customers were competing for a small number of tables, which were not cleaned between sittings. The buffet" was like feeding time at the trough. Yes it was cheap

Rooms great, nice modern hotel but the breakfast room is way too small for the number of guests.Imagine a rugby scrum crossed with supermarket sweep in a small room and that's the experience you'll find at breakfast. For what we paid per night the breakfast not the breakfast experience were good enough. Also when you book and it says 'Hotel Parking' what this means is that you have to pay an additional £15 per day that is not included in the booking price, nor is it made clear that it is an extra cost when you first book the hotel.Overall good location, nice rooms but spoilt by the breakfast experience and excessive hidden parking charges

I’ve stayed with my family and we all loved it. Rooms were cleaned, location is stop on, and the staff was very helpful. The only thing I believe requires improvement is the breakfast. Was no eggs, no sausages, apple juice and the waffles were not cooking properly. Besides that inconvenient with the breakfast everything was fine.

What an amazing hotel. We went for a night at Liverpool as we needed a night away, so we looked online and came across this hotel. The location is good for Albert Dock, which is an amazing place, too. The staff are really friendly and the rooms were clean, and to top it off the breakfast was amazing too.
