I thing it is a good school., I didn't want this school when I was in primary school but now I love it.It doesn't matter if the school is bad or no because if you learn then everything is gonna be ok! So success to you secondary school, and don't be upsead if you didn't get your favorite school coz if you learn and you don't follow bad peoples, you will be FINE!:)

My son got a 2 hour correction for asking a teacher if he can go to the toilet. This school is really strict. I got a letter from the school 2 weeks ago about my son's attendance being just below the target and said its not good enough. Wouldn't recommend the school unless you want your children to get depression.

Its the best education that students have everyone follow all the instructions from the first time... when he have a training fire alarm everyone move quickly to get out of the building this is the best school I ever had

Not the best school; head of years shouting to not only to pupils but to parents too ( if the parent stands up for his child); there is too much abuse of power,( if you challenge them they will expel your child); some lessons are boring; no attention to details ( my son is always mistaken with a year 9 boy); there are some racist, stereotype , unprofessional teachers too like Mr Jabreal. This man sent my son to the head of years' office for not felling well when he should take him to medical office instead. Obviously this shows me how much Mr Jebreel dispise my son.The school can't retain the good staff whatever the reasons , they always have vacancies on the website.Believe me they don't show you their true face on induction day, but only once you're in it you'll realise their true identity. For instance during the induction they will tell you that this school is a no shouting school when they're the ones shouting to everyone. Having said that most of the students in this school are on a waiting list for other schools. As a matter of fact nearly one hundred students moved out to other schools in just one year!Achievement is below the national schools ( only 39% achieved 4 compared to 67.50% nationally).Ofsed graded 3 (needs improvement).Brent invested millions of pounds in refurbishing this school, but the progress and achievement is still poor.The only positive aspect of this school is that bullying and fighting are rare, but everything else needs to improve dramatically.My conclusion is, there are really other schools to consider before a child can be send to this useless and hopeless school.

I go to this school, in year 7 and all of them 1 stars are wrong. This school has changed to all of us. There are fights, only the older kids because there parents don't teach them manners. The teachers care about our education and want us to get good grades.

Very good, I’ve had a tour and I love the school. Mat reviews are becuase this was an old school and only remade a few years ago! The school has lovely new decor and very open spaces to ensure no bullying. Lovely enthusiastic students welcoming the new year 7’s on the tour, my child can not wait to go to this school!

ZERO STARS.I stayed in this school from year 7 to 12. Very bad decision on my end and on my parents' end.Whenever I walk past and see the big poster about how this school has a calm, safe and supportive environment I laugh to myself in disgust.Surely not all teachers are terrible, few of them have made my time there more bearable. But only very few.They will not treat your child like a human, they will treat your child as a learning machine and a trashbag.They got good school meals they say? Its usually only for the first 3 weeks of the start of a new year, then they mainly go back to serving your child some AWFUL food no joke.They got mental health facilities they say? They won't help much unless you're one of their few priorities, and if you're trying too hard to get their help they will treat you as trash of course (but of course, trying to disguise it in the process by acting like they're doing their best). They're ignorant thats what they are.Just look at the other reviews here that surely agree with me that this school only good pleasing on the outside but on the inside it is a JOKE of a school!They also only seem to value the students that study the hardest and that most fit the criteria of a learning machine"

The most horrible school in London! Instead of focusing on learning, teachers compete to make corrections for the most normal gestures! Avoid this school!

Amazing school! I've visited and enjoyed it! Copland is now in the past, the fights you used to hear about are gone. What a marvellous school!

Ark Elvin Academy is an amazing school it was better than Copland. It's stricter and according to the Ofsted review it was outstanding. As it is very strict children have good manners and behaviour so they don't get a detention which they call a correction.
