From advice on moving, such as where to get decent boxes from, to communication in the lead up and throughout the day, Pollards made our move so much easier. The team that helped us on the day were super efficient, professionally and friendly.

We chose Pollards for our removal because, from the first contact with them, everything was handled in a professional, responsive and friendly manner. Ours was a two day move with different crews on each day. Graham and Dale on the first day were superb in packing and loading and Gareth and Brad on the second day had to unload to a second floor apartment using the stairs. All four of them carried out their work with good humour, friendly attitude and great care. They made us feel comfortable and did the best job we could have wished for, even tuning in the TV in the new place and adjusting a shelf to fit. Thanks guys. WOW! Pollards took ALL the stress and manual labour out of our house move.The whole team we had were stupendous, friendly, respectful, polite but most of all humourous.We did not lift a finger meaning we could concentrate on cleaning each room as it was emptied.They were masters of their trade and brought great ideas to the table at the new house to help us to place furniture and unpack.They went above and beyond!For anyone moving house, I would advise that this service from Pollards is added to your necessity list.THANK YOU for everything!

Pollards were incredible from start to finish. Danny was great right from the get go and was very professional and serious about his trade (these aren't just dump it and shift it folks). It was through covid when we first made contact and Danny did a video walk round of the property. Then gave me a quote with lots of tips around moving in general.Danny was very patient as we had a hold up in our move and then Still managed to accommodate us further down the line.On the day of the move the 4 man team were excellent. Aaron, Callum (I think), Graham and Jacob were top class and we couldn't believe how quick they were. They kept in contact while we awaited the keys and then met us at the property. Aaron did an absolute miracle job of reversing a huge truck with little room for error on neighbours' front lawn!All round could not recommend enough.

We used Pollards for a large commercial move, taking high value furniture from our workshop to an apart-hotel in York city centre. The site only allowed vehicular access from 6am-10am, so Pollards arranged for the collection of the goods prior to the delivery date and were on site for delivery at exactly 6am.The team were courteous, super efficient and dealt with the myriad of problems that the narrow listed building threw at them without breaking a sweat (restricted headroom, narrow halls and non-uniform door frames etc). Each piece of furniture was treated as if it was their own, and 8 apartments worth of furniture were delivered and placed in situ within the hour.We will definitely be using the team again on our next job. Thank you guys, we couldn't have done this without you!

An outstanding service from all at Pollards for the move from our family home of 20 years. A fantastic service that really relieved much of the stress of moving. We recently had to move on quite a tight timescale and Pollards provided an excellent service. There were various logistical problems to which they provided a variety of solutions. They also went above and beyond, meeting out of working hours and keeping up to speed with developments with our situation to make sure we were all prepared for the move. During the actual move the team were extremely professional, careful and friendly. It was a tricky move and they dealt with it with expertise. I would highly recommend using this company.
