Parkwood House

It must be one of the best if not the best home in Plymouth, it is very clean the residents are well cared for with very friendly staff and very helpful they have daily activities and frequent trips out.

Dirty, unpleasant and over all bad experience! Viewed this property on behalf of my family and I’ve never been so mortified by a so called ‘care home’The staff were very rude and almost aggressive! I wouldn’t put my pet cat in there, one girl told me that ‘staff decide when residents go to bed’ where is the promoting independence??From where I was looking there was no person centred care either! Absolute disgrace..A DEFINITE NO FROM ME

My mum spent 13 days in Parkwood on a discharge to assess,she required 24 hr nursing care but i was dead against her going into any nursing home,but i had to to put what mum needed first.I couldn't have chosen a better place,the care she recieved was amazing,the food was homecooked but most of all all the staff treated my mum with the utmost dignity until she very unfortunately passed away.

Such a lovely caring environment and staff who could not be more thoughtful and kind.
