Kates Bridal Room

Travelled over 1 1/2hrs to visit kates shop. Was definitely worth the drive. The shop is full of beautiful dresses to try on which is hard to find when your on the curvy side. I wanted a tea length dress but was disappointed when I tried a few on... They just didn't suit. Kate helped me explore different styles to see what suited me. I ended up with a beautiful dress which I thought I could never pull off in a million years! Kate is lovely and bubbly, has a great rapport, and made the whole experience a positive one.thank you. Would 100% recommend

Kate made my whole experience much more enjoyable than expected, as I really wasn't looking forward to the whole process of shopping for my dress. She was accommodating with appointment times, and she was really encouraging with my choices. She understood my vision with the accessories I wanted.I couldn't recommend more highly x

I tried on many dresses at Kate's in August and she was fantastic. I didn't have a clue what style i wanted or what would suit me but Kate sure did. I was so at ease and comfortable there which is exactly what you need when you're out of your comfort zone like I was.There were no pushy sales tactics and I left without buying a dress.Fast forward to January and I couldn't stop thinking about one dress, so Kate managed to squeeze me in to try it on again and brought it the perfect accessories to match.Needless to say I said yes to the dress and would recommend Kate's bridal until I am blue in the face.Thank you so much!

Went yesterday with the intention of just trying different styles and came away with “the one”.Kate was so accommodating, reassuring and totally put me at ease. She knew what I wanted and what would suit me best before I did and I’m so glad I listened to her advice.The shop was beautiful, dressing room was a good size with good lighting, an abundance of styles to choose from, no judgement and no pushy sales at all…so much so that I came away with a reduced dress that was perfect for me and not encouraged to go for something more expensive.On top of which, Kate designs dresses too that are closer to street size than bridal, that are stunning! Huge range of styles, colours, sizes, accessories, veils, shoes and even a bouquet so you have the full effect.Left with a huge smile and a complimentary goodie bag….perfect wedding dress shopping experience!

I went to Kate's Bridal room back in Sept 2019 for my first ever bridal appointment. Being a curvier girl I wanted to go somewhere that I did not have to worry about dress sizes and could not have wished for a better experience than what I had here!!I must say from the second I walked in Kate's team made me feel at ease we spoke about my vision and expectations and away we went trying on the most beautiful gowns, and there is so much choice!!The team were so helpful and patient with me as I was unsure what would look best, or even what I wanted. I never felt any pressure to buy.After trying on multiple dresses there were 3 of my favorites and I went back and tried them all on again and knew which one was mine and Jenny (Kate's Mum) had said from the start I would go back to it from the first time I tried it on.I ordered my dress Sept 2019 and then covid hit and Kate's communication has been brilliant keeping me updated on when I could expect my dress and assured me this would be with me before my wedding date which is not until Sept 2021.I went back in Oct 2020 to pick up said dress and again it was a lovely warm welcome and Kate and her Mum helped me pick out the perfect accessories to go with my dress again no pressure and just a joy of an experience.Highly recommend Kate's Bridal Room to all curvier brides for the most wonderful experience!!
