Perfect venue for our Wedding Reception. Trevor, Emma, Lisa, Bryn and the rest of the Team made our day and stay absolutely perfect. Afternoon tea had a great selection of sandwiches and the macaroons and scones were delicious. The Penthouse was superb. The outside space was fantastic for children to play and the views are beautiful. The team at the Pilgrim helped make the whole day very relaxed and were very accommodating of our requests. Highly recommend for a stay!

Pilgrim Hotel & Valley Restaurant
I recently stayed at The Pilgrim Hotel as it was the perfect middle-stop on our trip to Wales from Hampshire. The hotel is clearly in a period of change, as upon arrival, the reception looks a little tired. However, as soon as we got into the room, it was a completely different story. The room we stayed in had clearly been refurbished to a very high standard, and wouldn’t look out of place in London. The room was small, but had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. My only comment was the bathroom wasn’t to the same standard as the room, which was a shame.The breakfast was good, with a simple selection of cereals, toast and yoghurts, alongside a great full English. It would be nice to see a little more variation on the continental selection, with some fresh fruit and maybe some pastries.The service from the bar team and the reception was very friendly throughout our stay. The hotel is clearly got a vision for it’s future and if our room was anything to go by, it will look great once it’s all complete.

Stopped at the Pilgrim with my 2 young lads (10 & 8). Service was fantastic as soon as we arrived, the hotel has a real cosy feel to it but is also modern and updated where it needs to be, we had breakfast and evening meals there and the food is 5 star, especially the tikka massala and Keema Mutter, excellent service again in the restaurant, The beds are so comfy and rooms really quiet which ensures you get a great night sleep. The cleaning of the rooms is also to an great standard. We used the hotel as a base with the Brecon Mountain railway and Cardiff within an hours drive, there is also Ross on Wye and the spectacular Symonds Yat 15 minutes away. The views are stunning from the hotel itself covering the start of the Brecon Beacon, there is also the Violette Szabo memorial museum 5 minutes walk away. Can't wait to return again

Had a fabulous overnight stay at the Pilgrim hotel for my birthday. Bryn, Emma,Trevor and Hannah and all the team were super attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious. We will be back very soon :)

Place very clean , Staff very friendly. Rooms again lovely and clean, bed very comfortable bathroom great.Food is excellent although a tad expensive. Paying for breakfast is gilding the lilly a little.

Fantastic hotel. Food was beautiful with views to match. Staff were brilliant and rooms perfecr for what we needed. Get partnerships with golf course offering some great packages.
