V Poor surgery. This used to be a first class surgery but has seriously gone downhill. Difficult to get an answer on phone, even more difficult to get an appointment particularly with your own doctor. They only provide telephone appointments and it is then up to doctor if he/she is willing to see you. Yet if you go to the surgery, there's never more than a couple of patients inside. They have no intention of addressing the problems it causes for patients as it works absolutely fine for the doctors particularly when they are working from home. They won't even ring patients directbut revert to emailing their receptionist to ring the patient. If there's a supplementary query the receptionist then emails the doctor. Repeat prescriptions are often wrong and takes the chemist and patient to have them corrected. A truly awful surgery.

Just been for my COVID 19 vaccination. Great friendly welcome - superb jab and clear info. So we’ll organised I was in and out before my appointment time. Well done to all and huge thanks. Keep up the good work - it is much appreciated!!

I used e-online to get some advice for when a GP had time to contact me ..I received very reassuring information fromDr Abbott which was clearly explained in terms that Iunderstood. She was totally honest and upfront with me offering several solutions which we have mutually agreed on.I would encourage use of this type of service and offer a big thank you to Dr Abbott for listening to me ...which is of utmost importance in these awful isolating pandemic times

This practise is a laugh(or cry),1 telephone line & a machine! Don't use a mobile if it's a PAYG,'cos you'll expire your entire allowance the first time you call.Send a letter it'll be quicker,even second class!

Absolutely dire! Unless you know you”re going to be ill 2 weeks in advance don”t bother!Website is utterly confusing - how do I get an appt or speak to a person without A waiting 40 mins on phone B driving up there for 8.30am to try for appt or C waiting for days for Doc to ring me??Surely our NHS is not this atrocious?? Extremely worrying that a once efficient GP service is absolutely defunct now!

Rang on Friday.. Only waited on the line around five minutes.. Receptionist was very helpful offering an out of hours call today Sunday between 8am and 10am with the possibility of a visit later today if necessary. GP called at 8.03am and after describing the problem I was sent a link to send a photo. I had a follow up call immediately with no need for an appointment.. Reassured and job done. Great service during very difficult times. Thankyou

Unable to talk or meet a GP. No appointments available for 3 weeks. Not sure what is going on with NHS. I’ve been with this surgery for decades. It was excellent. Now patients can’t meet with GPs they are familiar with and the care and connectivity needed for a patient care has gone downhill rapidly

Good surgery when you can get an appointment phones are constantly busy during the 8.30 rush and online is like fastest finger first or they are all gone.Have since found out that if you are willing to travel and go anytime there are out of hour surgeries at Belmont and Meadowfield. I have used this myself a few times now and think this should be made aware to all patients.
