Downer & White Isle of Wight provided and excellent service for me in the most difficult circumstances. Nothing was too much trouble and they took the burden of burying a loved one right off my shoulders. Would definitely recommend them

I found the staff of Downer and White most helpful and supportive at all times from the arrangements to the day of the service. The logistics were complicated in our case but all difficulties were overcome with no corners cut. The Downer and White staff members who dealt with me were all friendly and efficient.

What can I say other than a huge thank you to Matthew for the amazing way he helped myself and the family through the arrangements for my husbands funeral on 3rd December. From the first meeting he took us through a very hard time with patience, understanding,professionalism and respect.The visit to the Chapel of Rest was an awe inspiring experience which reassured us that Dan was truly at peace.On the day of the funeral Matthew guided us through each stage ensuring that everything was perfect despite the limitations of COVID19.He is a real asset to the team at Downer and White at Lake and I thank you again Matthew for being the professional person that you are.

Very supportive and professional. Explained everything clearly and talked me through the procedure with clarity. I could contact them anytime which was so helpful. I was able to see my hubby very often and they looked after him so well. They showed empathy and kindness which made me feel better.

I cannot express how efficiently the funeral arrangements went. Five stars deserves ten stars. I thank the whole team for making my aunties funeral as stress free as possible. First class.
