The Grand Marquee at Gomersal Lodge

We had one of our wedding events at the marquee earlier this year and loved it! After an initial slow start we were looked after by Sam who had taken over events managing there and was amazing. From the moment she became involved we were at complete ease and knew she would do her utmost to make our day special. She kept in touch regularly and made the planning feel personal. The venue is beautiful and was perfect for our occasion and Sam and the venue and waiting staff helped make our day run smoothly so we could relax and enjoy it. On the day she and her team worked really hard and with a smile and that was noticed by the guests as well. I would love to see more staff like her get involved as I think the venue is beautiful but, perhaps due to the workload, we sadly initially felt let down by a lack of follow through on some things by others. It would be great if the road in could be levelled a bit and the toilets outside got really wet when people were in and out in the rain so if there was any way to fix this, the venue otherwise was spot on! Thank you so much. We had an amazing day that we won’t forget and appreciate the hard work of everyone involved.

My sister got married here. Elegant, spacious, and has a beautiful garden for outdoor ceremonies. The staff are incredibly attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend.

What an amazing venue! it looks unreal on videos and pictures but even better in person. The team that run this venue are ever so accommodating and polite - very professional and make the process hassle free.Alot of space inside and as you can see, amazing decor/layout.

Had my brothers wedding here the other day and i must say from start to finish it was absolutely incredible! The marquee it’s self is located on stunning grounds, lush green grass and flower beds surrounding the property, there are horses on the surrounding fields and we spotted a few rabbits running around the property!.These guys have a lovely hotel on site which is ideal if you have guests coming over from out of town. Nadeem and Sam the events manager have been a delight and made every step of the wedding stress free, they took care of everything and we could focus on ourselves and prepare for the event.On the day of the wedding everything was ready and waiting for us and the place looked amazing! The set up in the marquee was perfect, the Nikah took place in the lawn area outside after which we all made our way upto the marquee. The food was served on time and was hot and delicious! We were served tea after food which was really nice. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming, from the young lad at the entrance who directed people and helped with the parking to the waiter’s and waitresses.From all the family a massive thank you to Nadeem and especially to Sam! Highly recommend to any one thinking on having their event in an outdoor type setting! The Marquee is 10/10 aswell as the service.

I held my daughter's ruksati here in mid September, absolutely amazing day from start to finish, Huge shout out to Nadeem, Sam and Billy. All preparations were magnificent, kept in touch prior to the event and throughout the whole day to make sure every aspect of the day was catered for. Food was delicious and the service was immaculate. I did not know Nadeem prior to the booking so I have no loyalty to him to lie, but as the father of the bride my daughters day was amazing and she was so happy that everything went smoothly I really cannot praise these guy's enough, the location, the gardens and areas outside the marquee and the stage were all beautiful.If any bride or family is looking for that something extra special I would wholeheartedly recommend this place in a heartbeat. once again huge thanks to Nadeem, Sam and Billy

Had my daughters wedding here. Everything went very smoothly, mainly because of Sam who looked after us from beginning to end. A big thank you to Sam and Nadeem for making our special day so perfect. All the staff were extremely polite and the service provided was exceptional. The food we ordered was from My Lahores. We had the fresh jelebi stand which went down a treat. I highly recommend this.Overall I would highly recommend this venue. A big thank you to all.

Do not book here.All the positive gushing reviews are written by the incompetent and uneducated Nadeem.The truth is the place is not fit for purpose. The marquee is dangerous with uneven floors and trip hazards. No proper heating... illegal gas blowers which are a massive fire risk. The marquee doors do not fit properly leaving the place draughty and coldThe car park ( which can accommodate about 10 cars) is made up of scalping, tar mac waste, which kicks up a fine black dust all over your cars and clothes.The kitchen and reheat facilities are completely third world and a health hazard.The toilets are in a trailer. The electrics are completely dodgy. The place is a shambles, .
