Definitely feels like a personal issue looking how it's got 5 star but when we went in absolutely disgusting customer service.First was making prices up when we asked him because there were barely prices on anything, gives you a price based on your face. Then when I asked how I picked up the cake to put in the bag, he said just pick it up your gonna eat it, so he wants me to put my fingers on the cakes when others will be buying them??? Asked him nicely about the ingredients that were in the item because I have allergies and I even told him this and he still said I dunno what's inside I said do you own it he said yeah but I can't read Spanish can you not read Spanish, was this a racial comment??? My mum said it's lactose free he said your reading it now, my mum said what's lactose he said he didn't know. Then when I asked him if he was serious and began challenging him he came over to try and snatch the cakes from my hand. then when we left the shop a woman came came from the back and infrontB of a customer already inside we saw him waving his hands. Baring in mind I'm a 5'2 7 stone young girl. Horrible man. Shouldn't be running a business

I live locally and having such a high-quality selection of fruit, veg, fresh bread and other foods available on my doorstep is a huge benefit. Greenwell's is well-stocked, cheerfully run, takes pre-orders and delivers locally. If, as is easy to do, you overspend they take credit/debit cards with proximity payment, though having said that it is not expensive relative to the cost of equivalent produce in local supermarkets (and is far higher quality for sure).It's the key shop around which the others in Ashburton Village are anchored.

Excellent service and a fantastic range of usual greengrocer wares but also cooked meats and cheeses, dairy products and some cupboard items too.

Amazing fresh produce. Fab service when you visit. Good sound knowledgable suggestions and everything is not wrapped in horrible plastic. They also have an amazing stocked fridge with all sorts of deli goodies and the best bakery items you could hope for too.

We’re so lucky to have this shop, amazing choice and quality produce. From Christmas trees to apples and bananas - these guys have it all. David, Lorraine and Harry have worked tirelessly throughout 2020 to make sure that we can all still get the things we need. The effort is greatly appreciated.
