Writing a review as I am very pleased with the work done to my vehicle today.On arriving at the garage I found a parking bay in there private parking area.The reception has plenty of seats in there waiting area but didn't need to use as the receptionist worked efficiently he was kind happy and informative on the services the garage undertakes.I received a telephone call to give me a quote on the work needed to be done to my car before they proceed and another for collection an hour later..we will be returning to this garage..please ignore negative reviews.Good fair pricing no rip off surprises.

I have had the most amazing experience with Formula One, called yesterday was able to see me first thing this morning, had such a warm and kind reception with all colleagues I saw and couldn't be happier with the service received!! Booked a service on the website for a particular day. Money left my account. Was then told that there wasn't space for my car to be serviced on that date and would have to be rearranged. Very inconvenient that the website booking service does not align with actual capacity.

After getting quotes for work on the car, £120 just to look at the problem from one place and extra to fix the problem.F,One done the job for less than half of that.They were friendly and helpful I would definitely use them again, well recommended.

I first went to the garage based in Burgess Hill as who changed my front tyres advised me that I needed a wheel alignment and he sent me to Formula One as his nephew is the manager there. I kind of trusted him. I had few works done there in July including a full service. After the full service nothing was advices to do, but I wanted to make sure that if I'd would have done the MOT with them having done the full service if they think I'd pass it. Manager said they will not be any problem.Keeping in mind that I use my car rarely (once or twice a week), in October I went back to the garage to have my MOT done and I failed. I was shocked and asked the reason why I failed. Apparently the suspension arm was EXCESSIVELY WORN OFF, and I asked him why he did not advise me that when I brought my car twice to have jobs done. He said that from July to October many things can happen. If you use the car once a week how can a suspension arm being excessively damaged in 2 months? However I left extremely disappointed feeling as ''an other woman who can be tricked as I don't understand anything about cars''. The other reasons why I failed was for things they meant to repair/replace during the full service.I went to another garage to replace the suspension and retest my car for MOT. When I went to collect my car this garage has found additional reasons why my MOT failed the second time, again things that should have been sorted out or advised me during the full service. This garage quoted me more than £700 on top of the £300 I spent already.I have saved money to sort out my car before the MOT due by October, and I though that after I changed the tyres, done full service and repaired what they advised me to I'd have been fine, but now I literally cannot drive as I cannot afford in 2 weeks to spend more than £1000 as I am not a millionaire, so thank you so much!

Saturday night I got a puncture. I took in my tyre Sunday 11am. They said they could repair it at 2.30. Returned at 3 to collect to be told the puncture was too near the side wall to repair, and they didn’t have a new one to sell me. By then it was too late to take it somewhere else, so I was without a car for work the next day.On Monday, got the tyre dropped in to Retyred at Ditchling Common, they repaired it in 15 mins.So either: F1s first assessment was right, but then they forgot about it (in which case you would think they would just fix it when I turned up)Or: they saw me coming and thought they’d sell me a tyre, which it turned out they then didn’t have.Or: they are just incompetent at running a business, borne out by previous reviews - the service is very hit and miss.In the end they wasted my time, and I still had a punctured tyre on Monday morning. My verdict: go to Retyred.
