Chatsworth Lodge Care Home

My mum in law has recently moved into Chatsworth Lodge and to say she didn't want to go in was an understatement. From the minute she went into the home she was greeted by management and staff and was made to feel very welcome. She has settled into the home now and is loving it. She loves the staff and the banter they have looking on them as more like family. The staff cannot do enough and nothing is too much trouble. They are very friendly and caring and the management keeps us informed of any issues. The food is of good quality and she really enjoys the meals - she is now thriving. The home is excellent and we feel so lucky to have got her in. We feel as a family that she is being very well looked after.

My Dad spent 3 weeks at Chatsworth lodge after a short illness. The staff there cared for him in the way he wanted caring for. For my Dad that wasn’t about getting a wash every day, it was about having a ‘cat lick’ when he wanted. Having the food he wanted when he wanted it (Dad had a very small appetite) It was about individualised banter with the staff and knowing that someone was there so he wasn’t alone. The staff at Chatsworth lodge enabled my Dad to still feel empowered around what was happening in what was unknown to us to be the palliative stage of his life.I am the General manager of the home, but I have also been a customer. Myself and my family have the upmost respect and gratitude for all the staff who cared for my Dad.Thank you.

Both me and my fiancee worked there (me on nights her on days, so we rarely had us time, she had personal medical issues that affect us both, and the seniors and management were less than supportive

Chatsworth Lodge isn'ta Lodge, it is a home. A home with great quality care & staff. A lovely environment to be in and always a friendly welcoming face to make the day a memorable one.

Whilst caring for my sister, Diana Whitehouse, all the staff at Chatsworth lodge were compassionate, pleasant, polite, and professional at all times.The level of care was excellent.
