The Greenway Hotel & Spa

We had an absolutely gorgeous stay. It is definitely a luxury hotel, but considering that our stay included access to the spa, dinner and breakfast, it felt reasonable for the quality of the meal and facilities. We stayed here after four days of walking along the Cotswolds Way, and it was a wonderful end to the trip! Highly recommend for a special occasion!

We booked in for a night’s stay with dinner, bed and breakfast with spa treatment.We are local and this place is a hidden gem of a retreat. We pass the entrance regularly but this was the first time either of us had been there. It was recommended by a friend who is a member of the spa, and it didn’t disappoint.From arrival, the service was excellent. It did take a few minutes (<3 mins) for a staff member to appear at the the desk to check us in, but we could see they were attending to other issues. There was a small wedding, a baby shower and what looked to be guests having afternoon tea in progress so the hotel was dealing with a lot and yet still managed to attend to us.We were welcomed, given a short tour of the hotel as we made our way to our room. It was on the spa side of the house and appeared to have been recently refurbished to a very high standard. The room was large and the bed very comfortable.The spa was clean and comfortable, the weather was fine enough to enjoy the outside hot tub and the massage was very well conducted and very relaxing.The ability to order food and drink in the spa dining area was a welcome addition to an enjoyable stay. There we met a staff member who seemed to be on top of everything and rose to the challenge when our order for Prosecco seemed to be misplaced..and she would later make us feel welcome in the dining room too with her attentiveness.The dinner was tasty and inspiring. The meal was delicious, well presented and the service was excellent, prompt and appropriate.Breakfast was equally good but without the adventurous flavours of the amuse-bouche from the night before!. Service again was prompt and attentive.Overall, we had a wonderful night and day away from real life and parenting that was made possible by the great service, clean hotel and lovely surroundings.I have no idea how much it cost because it was a treat from my wife but I’m sure it was worth every penny.We did consider dropping a star for no biscuits with the tea/coffee in the room but had a word with ourselves to remember that fine hotels such as this don’t won’t to spoil your stay by using custard creams in wrappers when everything else is so bespoke!We wouldn’t change a thing and thoroughly enjoyed it and felt very spoiled

Visited last month with my sister & cousins. Gorgeous location and wonderful hotel & grounds. Enough parking as well. Rooms were lovely & spacious and bathrooms were huge. Spa facilities were good & my massage was lovely.Breakfast was delicious & had variety but they ran out of some things and couldn't replace it.Staff are polite & professional but didn't feel some of them were particularly friendly or approachable. But otherwise a fantastic stay & I would return

Stayed here for a midweek getaway and it was superb. Lovely grounds.. hotel room was clean and spacious. SPA was nice and relaxing.. the meal we had in the restaurant was delicious.. all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Have already recommended to other friends..

I did a half day spa experience and it was lovely.The massage was phenomenal and the afternoon tea delicious.Two points: the new outdoor hot tub was quite cold and not particularly bubbly, and the afternoon tea didn't actually include a cup of tea in the price, which seemed odd.

Beautiful views from windows and the spa pool was quiet. Nice reception with some character furniture and decent people staying . Much nicer than some modern characterless hotels and felt very looked after by the staff. A very pleasant stay and the food was excellent.

We booked The Greenway for our wedding on the 10th of June and cannot recommend this venue enough. We had a micro-wedding of 12 in the day and 19in the evening and we wanted a relaxed day of celebrating our love with our nearest and dearest. We had our perfect dream day and this venue is intimate enough for such a small party! Louise is so professional and organised everything perfectly. She is very friendly and a pleasure to work with. No question was ever too much and she was great at giving suggestions or advice when I asked her to.The grounds are dreamy, the views are spectacular and the rooms are spacious, clean and feel so luxurious. My mum and I had a wonderful time getting ready and it was amazing to be able to have breakfast with the guests who stayed over on the Sunday. The food was also exceptional, and all of the guests commented on its quality. The husband and I are big foodies and were blown away by the quality of the ingredients and the seasonal menu for the wedding breakfast. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, it gives the feel of a very close knit and happy team.Thank you to everyone at The Greenway for making our day so wonderful! We will always remember how happy and perfect our special day was when we look back at all of the photos.

Had a fantastic stay in the “elm” room, which was very spacious (the bathroom was huge with double shower and sink) and had a balcony overlooking the estate. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. We were provided with plenty of bottled water in a fridge, there is also a coffee machine in the room with fresh milk in the fridge. It was all very clean and looked like it had recently been refurbished. We had the spa and pool pretty much all to ourselves. The food looked and smelt great, we didn’t have dinner as we had already booked to eat out, there are lots of great restaurants in the surrounding area. We did have breakfast and the eggs Royale were very tasty with lots of other breakfast choices and drinks. We will definitely be back!

We had a great spa afternoon with a massage each, lunch and then access to the pool lounge area, saunas, steam room and hot tub. It was excellent and really good value for money. Much better than Cowley Manor when it came to value. We will definitely go back!
