Lovely staff and great Sunday session. I loved that you can go to hidden places you can't walk to. Things to know in advance:- Aim to arrive at 9:30 for the 10am session- It's £10 each cash only- Bring a change of clothes including old trainers- Buoyancy vest, paddle, kayak, introductory training is provided

Amazing community centre on the River Lea offering paddlesports for all. Also have a canal boat and venue for hire overlooking the amazing Walthamstow Marshes. Fantastic. Check them out.

Leaside Trust
Canoe club offering more activities such as paddle boarding, kayaking canoeing and mountain biking. It's a great place for kids. They have fun while learning skills on the water. You can even be part of a racing team and compete.There are activities every half term and during summer holidays! Adult club is also available for anyone over 19!!

Just had a fantastic morning at Leaside, paddling a kayak on the River Lea. Pouring rain but beautiful scenery, lovely lovely friendly staff and members, so helpful to a less experienced older paddler like me! I want to join the club and will definitely be back.

Stopped by for a paddle in a kayak this evening and had a really lovely time. A hidden gem, we were a tiny group and everyone was super helpful. Got to cruise along the river and see London from a different angle. I will definitely be going again!

Boys loved it, although we could have received a bit more information before turning up without a change of clothes etc. Great café by rowing club further along the river where we could watch the boys paddle board past us!!

Visited for Sunday paddle session, £10. Complete newbie. Had an amazing time! The coaches were really supportive and we saw some beautiful wildlife. I can't believe this is on my London doorstep. Free car park is also a bonus.

We took part in a work volunteering day with Thames 21 and Leaside Trust where we went on canoes and cleared rubbish from the river. It was a windy day but an incredible experience. The leaside trust staff were friendly and helpful and ensured we all felt safe and had fun! I would 100% recommend and would do this again!
