Sandwell Valley Country Park
This place is beautiful. Wide open spaces, play areas, games, a lake, cafés, ice cream and cheap parking. Parking is done through the paybyphone app and is about £1.30 for 3 hours. Parking is a little troublesome as a lot of people don't know how to park and didn't leave space for others to get out. However, after finding parking, there is a short walk to the play area. Kids really enjoyed the various apparatus they have, large swings, climbing frames and obstacle course etc. The lake here is beautiful and has a lot of wildlife. Would definitely visit again if in the area.Just to note, coffee in the cafe is the instant kind and they use PG Tips for the tea. Prices are reasonable.Looking for a fun few hours to kill with the kids for very little cost, then this place is perfect. There are also trails and walks to go on as well, so great for just relaxing and getting your mind off the daily struggles of life.

Wonderful, huge country park, woodland trails, can get muddy! Has a visitor centre where you can pick up a map, buy gifts or coffee, tea and snacks. Some paths are hard standing, but then disappear into soft ground, but not too bad underfoot. Can see if your lucky, squirrels, woodpeckers, and lots of different birds too. Bridge over the M5 at one point, where you walk across! Ruins of the old priory, and a farm garden, plus cafe and tea rooms, and the bunny village, which kids will love. Parking is plentiful and good value, easily spend a day there.

Sandwell Valley Country Park
Beautiful parkland and trees, a lovely walk to see old ruins, pretty flowers and beautiful tall trees. Ideal for single, couples, families and walking groups. There is lots to do for families including a small fair, a play park, crazy golf and picnic areas. There is also a fantastic free gym area with a multiple types of equipment. Would definitely return.

Sandwell Valley Country Park
We love this park. It's good for kids to play in. It's generally well kept. It has a nice car park which is payable most of the time but please check seasons and times before you pay. I love to talk a pleasant walk and having a nice quiet picnic is also most agreeable. I would recommend this park to families and couples. It has two table tennis areas and a basketball area. Also it has a workout area. You can hire bikes if you so choose.

Sandwell Valley Country Park
Very spaces park with lots of hidden gems to explore. Parking was easy with front accessible toilets. We walked towards the park and lake to have a picnic. It wasn't crowded, where we sat people were on walks and enjoying the park. We walked towards the small funfair and further into the garden area to explore the small museum. The gardens were well looked after with many produce from fruits to vegetables. A small coffee shop selling food and drink. Further on a small shop selling honey, eggs and many more items to purchase. The lady at the till was lovely. We walked around the woods track, lots to explore. Overall a very enjoyable afternoon out.

Great place for a park run, brilliant mountain bike tracks including Miners Trail. Swan Pool is a beautiful lake. It feels like you're in the countryside in the middle of West Brom. Easy to access about 3 min drive from West Bromwich and a few minutes drive from M5 J1. Also near the Hawthornes stadium and North Birmingham.

Headed here for a walk. Parking was reasonable. We didn’t enter into the tea rooms but they looked lovely from the outside and the menu was reasonable with lite bites and jacket potatoes.Found an Ice Cream van in the car park :)

Sandwell Valley Country Park
Such a large country park, including an amusement park, farms, lake, etc. I think it's better to ride your bikes coz it's such a long way, but walking around is also not bad as you can enjoy the sunshine and beautiful views.Didn't have time to explore everything but definitely come again and I wanna try High Ropes and Zip Line.I would love to bring my family next time.

Sandwell Valley Country Park
A really impressive place. Well laid out gardens ( there is currently building work in progress) with ample areas to eat. Plenty of catering, and a very good play area. My granddaughters loved the fairground . There was a woodland walk path that looked very inviting but that will have to be visited another time.
