Lovely looking doors but absolutely rubbish quality, waiting for our fourth to be fitted after the first three bubbled, will be speaking with their legal team about a refund because I’m sure the fourth will fail and then we’ll be out of warranty with a sub standard door.Pics below of their third attempt at making a door, not as bad as their first 2 efforts but not what you expect when spending £2000+.DO NOT BUY THESE DOORS…….

If you do have a home with humidity within then do not purchase a Rockdoor !!!. Save yourself the heartache of not buying a Rockdoor for Rockdoor will not want to know and will blame on humidity when every home does have this through people breathing, animals breathing people walking indoors on wet days in winter etc. It was said that we had been drying wet clothes in our home which is an untruth for we do have a dryer which is in our garage and the garage is seperate from our home plus we are aware of the problems in drying wet clothes in the home in the first instance. They will say this to get out of having to replace the door. Did not have this problem with our other UPVC door which we did have in situ previous to having the Rockdoor installed. My husband who is a UPVC Window, Door & Conservstory Specialist with many years experience in this field of work who did install our door and also installed other Rockdoors is totally appalled at this excuse made by Rockdoor which they confirm passed all tests etc etc and there is no fault with their doors. They may pass all the stringent laboratory tests however manufacturing does have faults not everything is 100% and they are not tested in homes which they should be . If you do purchase a Rockdoor you will have to purchase a de humidifier to combat the humidity on the door around the thermal bridging. This was confirmed to myself today by Jason Kay of Rockdoor that the only way to combat the humidity in the home is to purchase a de humidifier... De humidifier are expensive to run in the first instance and with ongoing energy prices it would be cheaper and more economical to purchase a UPVC Door and not a Composite Rockdoor " Please look elsewhere and certainly not Rockdoor

Honestly one of the worse manufacturers I have come across.We had our first Rockdoor composite door fitted five years ago and since then we’ve had two more! Albeit free of charge for the faulty doors supplied I’ve still had to pay fitters to change them.You as a company really to sort yourselves out because you’re a big enough company to be able to supply good units and actually have a good name for yourselves!As it stands I would advise any future customers to look elsewhere for a composite door and listen to your fitter like I should have done back when they suggest staying well clear of Rockdoor!

My back door is well over 10 years old and has stood the test of time recently had my front door fitted and again the quality and security stands out a mile. You need a quality fitter for a quality door.

Had a Rockdoor fitted by my local installer (who were great) nine and a half years ago which came with a full 10 year guarantee. Being just inside of this period I noticed a couple of cracks appear so I contacted (via my installer) Rockdoor to enquire about a replacement. After supplying them with all the necessary paperwork (serial number, hand signed guarantee etc) they then decided that my door was all of a sudden only guaranteed for 5 years !? This is unacceptable and I am currently in contact with Trading Standards regarding my consumer rights. Very poor. One to definitely avoid.

The design is lovely and door itself looked great when it was fitted. We went with a local Rockdoor approved installer and to be honest I cannot and will not fault them at all.We had a Rockdoor Ultimate Newark, installed in 2017.Within 12 months we had some bubbles appear in the door, this was replaced, door 2 had the same issues, door 3 arrived bent and was rejected prior to installation, door 4 developed the same bubbling issue".We are now on door number 5 installed in Feb 2020 which again has the same issue and are waiting on door 6 replacement (delayed due to COVID).For anyone interested our front door faces west so has the sun in the afternoons only.All of the doors had had the same issue - not impressed...it would have been easier to have gone with a bog standard uPVC for all the hassle we have had so far - 5 doors in 3 years! DO NOT BUY A ROCKDOOR... Your old door will be less trouble!!I always read reviews, but very rarely leave them. But I feel I need to leave a review on Rockdoor. If you take notice of any reviews, please read all of these about Rockdoor and do not buy at Rockdoor at any costs.Firstly, yes these doors are solid and they look great, but the quality is so poor. Based on my experience, I believe there is an inherent fault with these doors which is down to the sun. We have 2 Rockdoors which were both installed November 2018. We always use the side door and rarely use the front door at allThe front door warped and bubbled during summer 2019, which was replaced. Number 2 then bubbled and the skin and window separated, leaving a gap around the window of around 5mm. This was summer 2020 and within 12 months. Number 3 was fitted and we are now in the summer of 2021. This door has bubbled and the skin/window seperated in exactly the same place as the last doorIncidentally, our front door is in full direct sun from lunchtime and is hot to touch in the summer. So far I have had 3 summers with a Rockdoor fitted. I have also had bubbling on 3 doors during the summer. I am convinced it is the sunThe side door which is in constant use has no sun. We have no issues with this doorPhotos attached are from door number 2 and door number 3. The installers took photo's of door number 1, so unfortunately I do not have any. Both doors were less that 12 months old

Our first door developed some small bubbles a few years after installation and to be honest we were tardy in doing anything about it. It wasn’t until the supplier visited our property for another reason and said “this is faulty , you should get it replaced under warranty,” that we took action. Less than two years later the replacement door (pictured) looks like this. Rockdoor won’t replace it because the warranty starts from the installation of the original door. So Door 1 became faulty probably after about four years, door 2 after less than two years. Not a spectacular track record. The warranty is also held by the installer so , although this isn’t an issue for us as our installer is still in business (but no longer fitting Rockdoor products), this could be an issue if your supplier goes out of business. We have declined the kind offer to buy another one from them ! I can see some positive reviews on here but wonder how they will stand the test of time. We were quite happy initially but the door is not fit for purpose and doesn’t stand the test of time.

I have read many reviews on the Rockdoor, and have a very mixed opinion on them. Yes they are one of the best doors around, BUT they have a major problem with quality control and the sunlight!I don't think you will find a better designed and built door, but there are issues with this bubbling thing. I'm on my 3rd door now, after the first had build issues on the inside moulding. The second after 5 years on the outside moulding.The second problem has occurred after the very hot summer 2022, and the door facing into the sun most of the day. This problem had only appeared after this hot summer, but even so has made the door cosmetically awful.After all the problems, a new door has been made again, but more cost and time to fit. The other issue, the new 3rd door has a mark on the outside!!! Oh dear Rockdoor, WHY?????Anyway, would I buy another Rockdoor, Yes I would, but ONLY if the door faced into the sun for a short length of time not all day.Now down to you Rockdoor, answer some of the complaints on here, and put peoples minds at ease, by telling them you offer a guarantee for warping which they probably do not know!

What a shame, lovely door while it lasted.Had my Rockdoor installed a couple of years ago to a south facing aspect of my property, unfortunately Rockdoor haven’t quite mastered UV stability in the darker coloured composite doors.As you can see from the photographs the door has progressively cracked over the last year…. to the point where it now needs to be replaced :(NOT ALL IS LOST I HEAR YOU CRY ….. you paid extra in the piece of mind it has a ten year guarantee …… the guarantee is with the INSTALLER not the end user !!If your installer is no longer trading …... then you have no guarantee… SIMPLES ! ….just a door ready to split in two lol.Be warned and avoid…..get wood…. or a 10 year installer guarantee.Maybe Simon Brayshaw (Rockdoor CEO) will comment on my review, and leave themselves another 5 star review, so sad.
