Dealt with by post and internet rather than in person but a more honest and genuine bibliophile and trader you couldn't wish for. Definitely on my list of shops to visit when I am next in the area (albeit that it is a long way from London) but I would unreservedly recommend.

I just wanted to thank you for such good service. The book I ordered online was written in 1976 by my friend and mentor, Atarah Ben Tovim who recently died. It's the story of her musical journey - until 1976 of course! When the book arrived at my house in France it had been packaged so carefully. It felt like I was unwrapping a treasure. Thank you so much.

Awesome little book shop. Knowledgeable owner always recommending me interesting stuff. Feels good to support a local business like this one. Would be helpful having a late closing once in a while as I can only go on Saturdays which are sometimes occupied with other things.

Really charming little book shop with the best record store in the High Peak. Knowledgable and friendly owner and decent prices. Great to come on for dates, to buy presents, or have a feel good browse.
