Bright Young Things: Maths, English, 11-Plus & GCSE Tuition Centre

Signed my 9 year old up to get him prepared for the next school year, with the intention of using the summer period to do this.I had signed him up 3 weeks before Summer break, and was not told there would be a change in timetable throughout summer, so his session would not be available throughout summer.When I received the emailed the week before the change in timetable, I queried this with the centre and they informed me his session would stay the same.I arrived at the centre for his session, to be stood waiting outside a closed centre, without being able to contact anyone.I have been back and forth with several people now, as the sessions they have available are during the day which my son is already attending summer clubs.The centre know my son has ADHD and needs routine and structure so adhoc lessons would not work.I have requested a refund 3 times, to which I’ve either been ignored for days and had to chase, or they have offered to roll the hours over which I do not want.I am now on day 5 of no response from the centre.

Highly recommended for maths and English tuition. Looking forward to them opening in Maidenhead.

I am absolutely flabbergasted by the dedication and the lengths the tutor has gone to in order to build a safe and genuine relationship with my son.Due to his very complex needs, the unconventional and flexible methods used by BYT are exactly what my son needed in order to engage with the world. Glenish has been the only professional to connect with and gain my son’s trust in many, many years. He has gone above and beyond his duties, taking time to learn how my son communicates and adapting the world to fit my son’s needs.These are fun, down to earth, sincere people with a genuine passion for what they do.I cannot recommend them enough.

We used BYT for my daughter studying her GCSE, we used the tutoring service for Math’s to get her grade higher than her predicted grade. In her recent results she achieved 2 grades higher than her predicted grade and we credit that to the tutoring provided by BYT. The tutor was experienced, patient, and provided my daughter with the confidence she needed. Highly Recommend.

As an Adult learner, I'm not quite a Bright Young Thing"

The staff there do not have any idea about education or 11plus testing. I was given incorrect information about the testing process to presuade me to sign up for a service that I could not avail off. Then they charged me for a whole month with out providing a days service. After emailing them for a refund they refuse and instead offered tuition services that I did not want and did not make sense for my child. Beware what exactly they offer. They promise many things but in actuality their program does not offer what they promise.
