Victoria Mill Antique & Collectors Centre

Disappointing. Made a conscious effort to visit, as dealer looking for stock on the way back from a fair. Was told I wasn't allowed to look around unless I took my cap off.Very odd attitude to have towards customers in 2023. Will take my money elsewhere.

Visited 3or4 times. Won't be going again. Grumpy unfriendly staff who follow you round as if they think you are a potential thief.

Always worth a visit, there’s a wide range of items here from small collectibles through to high end antiques.

Visited a couple of months ago (having travelled 40 miles to get there) only to be told there was only '30 minutes left before we close'.I thought I'd make the most of it anyway and quickly scanned the 1st floor, picking up a few things and taking them to the main desk.I asked if I could leave the items there while I had a look on the next floor (15 minutes left (3:45pm)). The woman in charge said 'you won't have time to look, there's so much to see', and she refused to let me go up!I visited again yesterday.It had been raining so I had my Barbour jacket and cap on as I walked in. I had just started to walk around when a member of staff called out to me 'excuse me, can you remove your cap, we can't see your face'. I asked if I could leave it somewhere as I didn't want to carry it and she said 'no, can't you put it in your pocket'.She made me feel unwelcome and as if I had some sort of criminal intent (I'm 59!)Antique hunting is one of my passions and I was simply looking forward to spending a couple of enjoyable hours in there.And as others have mentioned, the staff seemed to be following me around the centre which was most off-putting.I will be revisiting but wish they would sort some of their staff out.

Shocking staff - at 20 to 4 we were harrased they were closing. Then another 3 times in the following 10 minutes. Turning lights off etc... we had travelled 1 1/2 hours to get there !. I get you shut at 4 but there is a lot more customer friendly way to go about this !!.We had put numerous things ready to grab to take to the till but because of how we were treated thought would rather spend our cash elsewhere....(if your a seller there take note).2 other ladies who also were hearded out also commented to us they felt the Same and reading other reviews were not the first to be treated like this.I was so looking forward to visiting this place and had gone miles out of our way to do so but won't bother again.

Love visiting this antique and collectables mil and l have bought several items it's good for just a look around and fantastic when you find a great item highly recommend will be visiting again soon!

This place has become quite pretentious. Was treated like a criminal there today simply for wearing a cap. We went to another shop a few miles away and spent a couple of hundred pounds there instead. Hope business is so good that you can continue turning custom away, otherwise you may wish to reflect that if you treat potential customers as potential thieves then they're likely to shop elsewhere.

A great selection of smalls antiques at good prices. Many different stalls locate on 3 floors, some crossover but good unique choice from glass, pottery to paintings. Antiques to vintage and nice freindly staff.

Lots to see, loads of little units, there's a cafe on the top floor which was closed when I got there, staff are really pleasant and helpful, not suitable for disabled people
