You can tell the teachers here really care. They take an active role in ensuring the kids get to experience viewpoints both within the curriculum and beyond. A pillar of the community.

Range of trips and out of the norm experiences make the school special. Have found staff very welcoming and the school is well run. The children are happy and enjoy coming in. Have found leadership very responsive and work hard for the community. Thank you

Lovely primary school I recommend it to others

I have visited this school annually for about 5-6 years now. It is totally inspirational. The leaders' commitment to the well-being (professionally and emotionally) of teachers and students is awe inspiring. Keep up the amazing work you do for the kids!

A lovely tribute on the 1st April 2019 in honour of a pupil who sadly passed away. The whole school joined in with speeches, poems and an uplifting dance to Little Mix Black Magic. Well done Ray Lodge for an amazing celebration!

To whom it may concernI don’t normally send emails like this but a group of school children from Ray Lodge Primary School got on my tube carriage yesterday on my daily commute into London. Normally the whole carriage sighs (as they do not want to hear (or see) school children in the morning but this group was very different. They sat quietly and read their books and were simply the best behaved children I have ever seen. I know someone else commented on the tube too to the teacher in charge. I have lived in Woodford for over 20 years and actually sent my daughter to Churchfields school but having seen those children yesterday I would have certainly reconsidered that choice now. Whoever the teacher was that was in charge of them was brilliant, she completely had all those children under control at all times.Kind regardsJenny

We have just moved into the area and my daughters have just started school at Ray Lodge. We were a little anxious about them settling but they have settled in so well. All staff are really helpful and friendly. My wife and I were also blown away by the art room and Science lab. It is really evident that the school values the wider curriculum.
