One of the worst surgeries ever! My elderly mum has several health concerns and is now too stressed to ring for an appointment or to even to sit it out in open surgery! She went for a blood test this week, pre booked, and an elderly gentleman in front of her had waited 2 hours at the desk even though he had a 9am appointment, not one receptionist came to the see if he needed assistance. How on earth is this a service? Why can you not book an appointment? Even the nurse who saw my mum expressed her disappointment at the new system! We will be registering with a different practise, it's an absolute joke! If you haven't got high blood pressure before your visit here, you certainly will have after you leave.

Absolutely terrible. I never call the doctors usually but when I did I was in the queue for an HOUR AND A HALF, I was number 5 in the queue the ENTIRE TIME. So you are clearly not taking calls and ignoring patients. As a medical receptionist myself this would never be allowed in my surgery. Absolutely disgraceful. I ended up hanging up and taking myself into the surgery to sort my problem out. Do better. Quite frankly you don’t even deserve 1 star.

Such a frustrating process dealing with this surgery. I have severe Flu, I’m asthmatic and high BP, I couldn’t get a doctor app, I did get a telephone consultation. They issued me with antibiotics, didn’t send them for 2 days, then sent to wrong pharmacy, 3 days in total. Ended up in A&E who were amazing, alarmingly I discovered I had been prescribed the wrong medication from Ambrose. Really disappointed.

Utter shambles. If I could provide a 0 - I would. You can never get an appointment, always a walk-in even if it is a follow up appointment. No common sense.I feel the surgery has gone back 30 years!!, despite the technology. Even if you request a sick note, you still have to chase up. I don't know what the Doctors or Receptionists do there. They also have staff training every day, also haven't a clue on what they get trained on - it must be how to avoid giving patients appointments or answers. I do know the surgery is empty in the afternoon, yet no patients.

You need to sort your phone out. Called 8am, number 8 in the queue. After 47 mins, you still hadn't answered. Took 20 mins to move up one place in the queue. Phone calls with patients don't take that long, so clearly you're just not answering them one after another. You're leaving time between answering..And 12.30-1.30 for staff training - every day?? That's called lunch! It's unfit for purpose. Sick people cannot wait in line at 7am in the cold. Stop telling people to walk up. Sort your appointment system out instead! Allow people to book in advance.

Awful surgery. The staff always speak rudely on the phone and are not helpful. You can never get an appointment. I have rung four days in a row when first opens and can still not manage. Safe to say I am leaving this surgery.

Are not following new rules. Refusing to give me an appointment despite being in top 10 in queue each morning. Am personally unable to get into their open access thing so can only call and ask for a call. Am unwell and in need of antibiotics yet still refused an appointment whether on day or in future. Is getting out of hand. Same has happened for partner who called for follow up appointment requested by doctor yet reception refused to give him an appointmnet.

I received a text message regarding a medication review 51 minutes ago and it stated to call the surgery for an appointment. I'm now still in the que on the phone waiting to be answered. They go for training between 12.30 and 13.30 and the phones will not get answered. It's now 12.10 and I'm still in the que, I started at number 17 and I'm now at number 8. Looks like my call won't get answered and I'll be cut off. Here's an idea, when you send a text with regards to a medication review, just allocate an appointment date and time and just put it in the text message. This surgery is an absolute disgrace. I have considered moving surgerys but the only surgery that is close to me has the same bad reviews and my old doctors surgery that was excellent will not take me back as I am out of their boundary. Update: it took an hour and 29 minutes to get through, BUT the lady I spoke with on the phone was very helpful and polite, so we'll done to her.

Zero is the score but I am forced to give 1 star. I registered my baby when she was 4 weeks, and when I try to book an appointment for her when she was 6-week old, the receptionist said she was not registered and suggested me to A&E.Then I went to the practice to register again, and I called them again several days later to book an appointment, but the receptionist told me that my baby was still not registered!Due to their delay in registering my baby and their shortage of staff (what they said), my baby missed her 8-week immunization and all her immunisations were more than 4 weeks delayed. This week, my baby got a fever and we took her to hospital, the doctor was very surprised that my baby has not received her vaccinations yet and she said she has never heard of such a big delay, as it is very dangerous to leave babies unprotected, and my baby’s treatment options are restricted due to the lack of immunisation.
