This lovely place has always had an extra special and personal connection to me. I am very thankful it has now been turned into a first class eating place, with amazing food, and brilliant and caring service of all staff - nothing is too much trouble for them at all. It really provides such a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere, somewhere to just wind down and enjoy being there. The scenery outside is as beautiful as ever - all in all just the perfect setting for a lovely day out.

Have been here twice for breakfast rolls, coffees and scones and I would definitely recommend it to others. It is beautifully decorated throughout and as well as the main dining area, it also has a couple of small tables as you enter which feel nice and private. I love the fact that the Clock Tower which was built in 1931 has been renovated and brought back to life. The staff are very friendly, attentive and eager to please. There is a large outdoor seating area too which is great for dog owners. Today they had lovely autumnal flowers and candles burning too which created a lovely atmosphere. When paying the bill we given a sweetie each which was a lovely touch. Prices are very reasonable. I believe they have plans to open an interior shop next door selling candles etc which will be a great addition too.Looking forward to our next visit.

Just opened and all very new and fresh. Food was nice and staff friendly. As a single diner was offered a table in the 'empty' entrance/payment area yet there were available small tables in the dining area, had to stand my ground to be seated there. Indoors, not dog friendly but large enclosed out seating where dogs are welcome.

Fabulous find. Dinner menu was so inventive, making it hard to choose but not disappointed with any of our courses. The staff were very friendly, attentive making time to engage with each of the diners. Top marks to chefs, staff and surroundings. So peaceful in the loveliest of rural settings. Will definitely dine her again.

Back here for a second visit, lovely restaurant, really friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and very good value. But have two minor complaints, the trio of seafood special although perfectly cooked was over salted and the Broccoli was way undercooked.

Out first trip out here. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and lunch was amazing. The prawn and smoked salmon sandwich was perfect. They used hot smoked salmon too which I love. Coffee was a huge hit. Definitely going to book for dinner here and soon!

Went here for the first time recently.New York steak, platter for 2, was exceptional and cannot fault the service and atmosphere, will definitely be returning to try other menu items.
