Peggy's pasture camping and glamping site

My daughter and I stayed for a night here as a cycle/camping trip out of Norwich. It's such a friendly and welcoming place. We loved swimming in the river, playing on the swing, seeing the ducks (including meeting Pingu!) and sitting by the firepit toasting marshmallows. It's an easy cycle from Norwich yet feels like a wonderful escape. We'll be back!

Had a lovely few nights stay at Peggy's pasture, the owners were really friendly and accomodating, the pitch was a really good size, toilet and shower were nice and clean with hot water, and I was happy to see recycling bins.The site itself is lovely, right on the river, and the owners have put a picnic bench, several swings and a few fire pits for guests to enjoy. Was lovely to sit around the fire one evening.We were also able to hire their canoe which was great fun.It was a bonus to be able to bring my dog! I'll be back again to swim in the river on a warmer day.Thanks so much for a great stay!Hazel

We cannot say enough good things about our experience on this absolutely beautiful campsite. The setting is idylic and the family are the most gorgeous people you could meet. They helped us out when our van wouldn't start, multiple times, gave us fantastic recommendations and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and happy. It really made our stay in Norfolk a stand out experience. And we absolutely loved the quirkiness and unique character of the site.10 stars from us!

After spending 2 glorious nights here we will definitely be returning. We stayed in the Moroccan yurt and it was magical. The site is so clean and set on the most beautiful river. The owners Mandy and Damien are amazing! They were so welcoming and helpful, they made or stay even better. We can't wait to be sitting around your awesome firepit again. This campsite is everything camping should be!

A great little site run by lovely people.Looking at previous reviews and pictures I can see how much work has gone into maintaining and upgrading the pitches this year. Love all the flower pots dotted around the place :)The site benefits from shade and sun and is in a peaceful spot next to the crystal clear river Wensum. Centrally located so the north and east coasts of Norfolk are around 40 minutes away.The only thing I would have liked is hot water for the dishes but I overheard Amanda say they were looking to install solar panels for this soon so it’s already in hand!Thanks for a lovely stay - would definitely stay again!

Lovely laid back five day break .We all loved paddle boarding on the river. A pleasant, quite, site.

We spent 3 nights with our family and friends at this lovely place.Perfect Location right on the River. We had 4 lil ones between us and all had a fab time, they all loved the river rope swing, paddle boarding, and toasting marshmallows.The owners were fantastic, always someone there if we needed anything and checking up on the guests.We even needed to borrow some jump leads and they helped straight away. Will return. Thanks for having us:)

3 days camping with very good weather. The campsite is ideally located for access to the River Wensum. We had our own paddle board but the owners have their own and canoes to hire. The peaceful paddle up the clear river was definitely the highlight of our stay. The owners are very friendly. The site does need a tidy up and maintenance. Only two sinks for washing but one was not working and only one cold tap on the other. Hot water taps but no hot water. Only 2 toilets so when one was out of order for the day it left only one working. The shower block was in very poor condition with only one working out of two. Thankfully the one shower did work well. The kids play area was also not usable. With a bit of work the site could be very good as it’s such a nice spot.
