I have used Blueman Tailoring a couple of times for complicated mens suit alternations. They have always done a fantastic job. The tailor, Yar, has an excellent eye, and the work done is of the very highest quality with an excellent standard of finishing. Professional, efficient, quick and reasonably priced. What more can you ask for? I highly recommend them.

I've used this great tailoring business many times for clothes repairs; zips, pockets, jeans with big holes, buttons...the lot!Yar is a true professional and will tell you exactly what can be done and what can't and even point out something you hadn't noticed before.All done quickly at a very good price.I keep forgetting that they are not open on Fridays. This is entirely my own fault since it is clear on their opening times board at shop front.Highly recommended; don't go anywhere else if you live in the area

Daylight robbery! Went to this shop to get an idea of how much it would cost to shorten a dress. The quote I received was in the region of £250 - £300! And apparently, this was after some discount had been applied?! Yes, the dress was an Asian style (South asian/Indian Pakistani) quite heavily beaded, which was the excuse used to justify the cost. I politely declined and went a few doors down to a seamstress who charged me £30.

I can highly recommend Yar for the quality of his work and the professional and pleasant service. I had passed by the premises of Tailoring by Blueman on one of my long walks during the first lockdown last year. This spring, thinking we might get some summer weather soon (which didn’t happen) I visited the premises with a lovely cotton dress by a well known premium Italian brand. It is the perfect dress, not too tight, not too short or long, not too tent -like. Yar who is head of Blueman discussed my ideas on fabric form/ copies and warned against too stiff a fabric as the tucks in the dress might not sit well. I returned with the 2 heavily patterned fabrics. I returned 2 weeks later for a fitting. He had matched up the fabric perfectly. They were wonderful and I picked them up 2 weeks later. I am looking forward to wearing them. In addition to the beautifully made dresses, the experience of doing business with Yar was lovely. Life is too short and we should get the list out of every situation. I’ve asked Yar tk hold on tk his pattern for next year when I can treat myself again. Thank you Yar.

Absolutely exceptional craftsmanship and customer service. I make clothes myself but have no time. I had three pairs of trousers made - copied from a worn out favourite - in three different types of fabric and my word! So incredibly impressed. Better than the Soho tailors and a lot cheaper!

I needed an alteration to make a gown bigger at the bust. Yar did such an amazing job, I could not be happier. He was also extremely accommodating and meticulous throughout. Couldn’t recommend more. You won’t be disappointed; they are extremely trustworthy and you’re in great hands.

So delighted and happy with Tailoring By Blueman! Our large sofa cushions and seat cushion look fantastic. The quality of the finish is spot on, perfect fit!! Tailoring by Blueman did a great job. I would highly recommend them to everyone! My wedding dress was too loose after I had lost some weight so I contacted Yar who immediately got back to me. He did a magic as the dress now fits perfectly and there's no sign of it being taken in. He saved my wedding dress and I am very grateful to him!

It's been an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Yar has been great to work with - we had bespoke curtains and blinds made, a sofa covered and a chair reupholstered. He has a gorgeous range of fabrics, he is absolutely meticulous, warm and courteous, and his work is beautiful quality.
